300 Faust - 12ga. Slug Prototype - First Test
Added 2023-04-19 00:13:13 +0000 UTCTrying to find a use for some 300 Blackout bullets that Lehigh Defense sent us (I think by mistake) I decided to try to use them in a 12ga. shotgun slug. I used a diabolo lead pellet to mount them in. The diabolo shape is self-stabilizing- which does not need spin. I was hoping this design would be "universal" allowing them to be used in all types of shotguns. I underestimated how much inertia the bullet would encounter and overestimated my press fit. In this video you can see how consistently it failed to hold together.
