A viewer named John donated some rare and unusual ammo for us to test out. These are Finnish 7.62x54R, that we know. Will these even function after over 80 years stored in just a cardboard box?
After 80 plus years it worked as well as new. Amazing. The flash is so fast and short lived it may as well not have happened without the high speed camera as proof.

Jeff - No strippers!!?? Where's the fun?? Hmmm....my pastor is just shaking his head - one video creator to another - it's video creator's latitude, dontcha know? I've got some 1946 stuff packed with strippers (??!!) not quite as old as your stuff...That aluminum was powdered and ignited and made it's own cone focus backflow - shaped charge...like July 4th..!! I think that you have an unending lineup of guest shooters that would like to be in a TAO video..!! Nice Mosin video. Best to ya, Jeff... Steve

Thatβs an awesome little round. Amazing they still work after 80 years of questionable storage.
