Tier 3 student (group class/critique/feedback/live demo )
Added 2017-05-06 01:14:47 +0000 UTCHey guys! I was very happy to see that alot of your were accepting of the new tier changes/addition ^_^ My goal was to improve the quality of my content and to give myself more time to work on it. If you haven't seen the previous post please check it out here.
One of the major addition to the tier changes is the Student tier(10$) group session. I will host 1 session per term. Here's a rough layout of it ^_^
- -portion of the time going over works/wips submitted by patrons who request paint over/feedback
- -portion of the time giving most requested demo( think of it was a live voice over tutorial) ( decided by my patrons)
- -portion of the time answering questions or give advice/tips
The duration would amount to 2-3 hrs per session, or more If time allows on both sides. I think the real way to determine the time line is to host it and we will see from there how to organize it better :3
When will the sessions happen? a date will determined by the patrons as well as the time. I will create a post about it every month up for voting :3
What platform will this be hosted on? I'm currently looking into what platform can do private group stream with a large capacity. Currently looking into Facebook livestream, but if anyone have any suggestions let me know ! more will be posted once I find a suitable platform :3
How will the Work/wip feedback work? assuming I will probably not be able to go over everyone's works I will only be looking amongst patrons who are able to attend the live stream and those who are comfortable with me broadcasting their work with others. If needed i will use random generator to pick from all the submissions if there are not enough time to cover all.
what if I was not able to attend? live stream footage will be send out as a regular reward every month, or if the platform allows I will store it and give email access to those who have missed it ^_^more update on that if I find better ways.
that's all I have planned, more info will be added as I get it better set up :)

This might hurt those in different time zones but if it's going to be one session per term then everyone has a similar chance of missing that day anyway.

2017-05-06 04:01:59 +0000 UTCSounds good to me, and the footage being sent out will be a good alternative, for those who may miss out due to timezones etc. I was thinking about it last night and wondering how it'd work - given that there will be a lot of us who will have access, and we're all going to be clamouring for your attention. I've attended a few of Artgerm's streams on You Tube and, because he has his school, he has students from his school join in and they handle questions that are typed - they can answer most everything that's asked - from what brushes are used/ programs/ and even certain questions about technique. It seems to free him up a bit more to talk about other things. I don't know if this is something that could work here, but it could help free up somethings. Also, would you ever consider allowing us to ask some more questions to you? Not personal stuff, of course. But there are things that your thoughts and suggestions could be quite helpful on - things like how to market your work, how to handle social media and some of the comments you get - especially those which are potentially troubling (like the people who can be pushy about artists who chose to draw a humanised Zootopia where both characters were white) and even things like conventions and selling prints - what you can sell, what to do if you get a take-down notice. Advice on dealing with thieves and the different types of thieves (those who simply are posting art they find pretty, not realising it's considered impolite vs those who use the art to sell online). There's a lot more general type questions which I'm sure others could think of, where your thoughts and even input from others would be quite valuable.

I occasionally stream through the service as do a large number of friends. It can be used for any number of input mediums including (but not limited to) live video (so if you were drawing by hand), videos of apps, windows, monitors, etc., with this app Sakami can also choose to save her videos and use them later for her gumroad, etc.

2017-05-06 01:24:39 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if that would be viable to you, but Picarto.tv has the option to have private channels if you have a premium account. It might be a good place to do the livestream, since we can record and stream at the same time using OBS (free software, btw)! ^^
