By the fact that one of the mini games that you needed to do in order to proceed through one of the missions required the use of the six axis motion control, which by the time I played the game, all of the first party PlayStation 3 controllers I had could not hold a charge, and all the third-party controllers I had didn’t have the six axis motion control.
