Texturing the cannon
Added 2018-05-18 06:17:33 +0000 UTCOnce I got the geometry finalized I went on to texture this little model. I start by sketching a rough form directly onto the white model.
Then comes the actual (digital) painting where I create all the textures I need. The result in this case is a very nice paper canon! Here is the front view ...

This is obviously the advanced version of a cannon. During the next break from the fences, I will make an easy version. Not everyone wants to spend that much time assembling a cannon. Especially for a pirate ship where you might night quite of few of them :-)
