The Second Half-ish of April... 😎

UPDATE: Just had to make some amendments to the dates of releases for the movie edits for YouTube and for the Agents of SHIELD episodes (Fri/Sat instead of Thu/Fri).

I've been back to doing reaction work, but a reminder that I have next week off too and then that will be it for away-time for a few months. Thank you to everyone who is always supportive of creators taking breaks, just like traditional employees do. It was so lovely to spend so much time outside of my office and it has motivated me to spend more time out of this room by using my laptop more often to complete other tasks (like writing this post).

I enjoyed doing some much-needed home projects that I had procrastinated for years, I spent time with family and friends and Soka, I slept in lots, cooked, spent time in the outdoors, and I did end up watching three movies that were all first-time watches! They were: Disturbia, The Menu, and Moulin Rouge. I enjoyed all of them, but The Menu was my favourite of the three! I know I mentioned this in the last weekly post, but I do log all movie watches (for reactions and on my own time) on my Letterboxd page, so feel free to follow me!

I'm terribly sorry. It will still sit in the to-be-edited pile, though!

🗣️ When I'm Not Reacting...

• A while back, I started watching Doctor Who for the first time. I began with Season 1 of the relaunched Who and I'm currently halfway through Season 4. I'm really enjoying it so far, but not yet really loving it like so many of you all seem to. I think that will come with a bit more time, so I'm glad I'm not reacting to it as I feel like I would disappoint so many people. I've been told by some folks here that it's possible that I just haven't met MY Doctor yet, so I'm keeping that in mind. My favourite episode so far is 42, because that was the episode that just "clicked" for me.

  • There is a Doctor Who space in my Discord server where I am posting my thoughts on the show along the way and chatting with some of you about it! Feel free to come join us!

• I've become extremely motivated to get back to taking care of myself physically (and mentally) after realizing that I've undone all my health progress from 2024 (oops). 😅 Outdoor swimming is just around the corner (I can't wait), I've started using Pokemon Go again for the first time in a whole year, and there are some fantastic exercise YouTube channels these days! I'll be sharing more about this in Discord too, in the Community Accountability space.
