Poll: Podcast Discord?

Hey Big Fat Gay Patrons-

Trevor here! We literally just wrapped recording for episode 211 where we are discussing one night stands. For sometime we have been discussing new ways to engage with listeners and build community, and it seems more pertinent with the implosion of various social media platforms. We've been floating various ideas about the best way to do that including creating a Big Fat Gay Discord.

For those of you who might not being using Discord or have heard of it and have been to embarrassed to ask, Discord is a voice, video, and text chat app. Communication can be private or take place in virtual communities called "servers". A server is a collection of chat rooms and voice channels which can be accessed via invitation. Discord used from everything from a way for gaming groups to coordinate times to play and chat between, for fandoms to share art and connect, or even study groups.

A lot of work does into making sure a discord is a fun and safe space for members to connect, but I think it could be a nice way to foster community and for people to share advice, resources, and drag race memes. I think it could also be a good way for us to share things that don't really make it to the podcast, as well as a way to organize group watches.
