Alicia's Escape! (Paid Post #2)

 “Cookies?” Alicia asked. “I thought it was supposed to be a drink or cake?”
 Alicia looked around the escape room. It was Wonderland based. She had finished all the puzzles correctly. There was the Caterpillar and Walrus puzzles that were just a hair too easy for her.  But the White hare, now that was a brain tickler.
 But when she completed the puzzles and put them into the storybook she was expecting a key to open up the room. But instead it was a cookie. Then she remembered the story the room was based on. And looked up and down and saw her exit. At least it was what she thought was her exit. She had seen them around town they were called Fairy Doors. Down in the base boards there was a small little porch looking diorama. Just like the classic cartoon the doorknob was the nose to a rather snooty looking doorman's face.
 Alicia giggled to herself. “I guess this is going to make me itty bitty so that I can squeeze my way through.” The idea tickled her so much that she giggled again.
 She ate the cookie expecting the wall to break open and a doorway to appear from the magic of hidden seams in the walls. She felt a sense of euphoria flood her brain the same way it would if she had eaten chocolate or a sweet cream, but this sense was a lot more intense. Her muscles felt jittery and her feet felt like they needed to leap, when all of a sudden out of her control, they did! She leaped straight up, into the air! The strangest thing was she didn't see her surroundings lower when she jumped. In fact, she saw them raise even higher. Her Alice costume even felt loose around her. The shoulders wafting around her like curtains in the wind.   
 She felt another jolting shock shoot from her sternum all the way down to her ankles and she leaped again. She even let out another “Oh!” and sounded just like Alice in the classic cartoon. When she landed she noticed the bottom of her dress was dragging on the ground. She was so confused as she looked around and noticed that the table was up around her collarbone.
 Before she could ask what was going on she leaped again, Her body seeming to soar in the air but her height remaining the same until gravity took it's course and she fell even farther than before down to the ground. The dress slipping off her shoulders as she landed in a pile of clothes.   
 The feelings abated as she looked around half naked. Her stockings thankfully remaining the same size relative to her. The room was just so big now, and that fairy door seemed so normal to her. Alicia was so confused. She spoke quietly to herself. “Well, at least the cookie was tasty.”
 She picked up her apron and wrapped it around her body like a toga. She walked up to the door and chuckled to herself. “I guess I win!”
