We're writing music for a Ubisoft game!

Recently we were contacted by a representative of a company hired by Ubisoft to make music for an upcoming AAA game of theirs titled "Beyond Good and Evil 2".

The game is set in planet "Ganesha" (named after the Indian God Ganesha) and to that purpose they require heavy music that has Indian elements in it. Lucky!

This, however, is not a guarantee that whatever we come up with will be a part of the game's music as it has to be approved by the developers. Nevertheless, I feel this opportunity is not something we should let go of in any case. Video games have been a HUGE part of my childhood and I discovered so many amazing bands like Killswitch Engage, Alter Bridge and tons of my all-time favourites just through games. In all honesty, it's been one of the things on my bucket list - make music for a AAA game.

We are committing to making one track for them. Essentially, we should be done with it within 10 days. We wont be able to upload the song publicly before we get an approval/rejection from the development team, but we'll share it with you guys privately once it's made ;D

Now, this also means that we'll have to put the previous song on hold for a couple of weeks as we need to finish this fast to make the deadline. Dont worry, we've already made substantial progress on it so that wont be far behind either.

Hope you guys are as excited as me about this as me! The mere thought of a Bloodywood track kicking in upon the onset of a boss battle gets me all tingly :D
