January started off with some big new updates for Ballad of Heroes, and I've got more on the way for February. I'm planning on releasing the next Ballad, Ballad of the Witch. Your journey takes you to the island of Aiaia, home to the exiled and powerful witch Circe. This Ballad will also bring you face to face with more iconic enemies in Greek mythology in Scylla and Charybdis.
During the Ballad, you'll have the opportunity to increase your Jewelcrafting and Alchemy levels. The last new Trial type I have planned will also be introduced -- Trial of Resolve. This works as more of a ladder, where each stage is an increasingly more difficult boss. Like the other trials, these are intended to be end-game level battles with great rewards including a Time Fragment and access to the goddess Aphrodite.
As usual, there will also be a number of bug fixes and UI improvements. I'm also making some balance changes to some Alchemy items to try to make them a bit more useful.
