that's probably because there is none for most of the first year, the actual interesting stuff are in the few first episodes where you get used to the dynamic, from there you can just skip to the begginning of second year where they actually focus on story and conflict, and i'd suggest to stop reading it after the inevitable confession, you will miss some cute and or funny moments that happen after but you can just make it up anyways, the story goes downhill from there in my opinion
