Important news! (you probably know where this is going)

Hi! So for those tha support me for a long time you know that "important news" are often actually important AND often negative, changing how i do things and such. so to summarize:

Those who follow more NSFW artist, from models to va's to illustrators and such, Gumroad supposedly will (or is) no longer allowing NSFW content, honestly, this didn't affected me much, i barely posted anything there so it wasn't my main income source... HOWEVER, today i woke up with some FANBOX news, which in short is paypal again, i won't be able to get my funds from fanbox through paypal anymore, this is because paypal has been constantly trying to earn less money for a good while now. That on itself wouldn't be an issue, there's still options to withdraw the funds BUT those options are only for americans and or more advanced/recognized countries unike the one i currently live in. basically right now i don't have income for subscription sites and sales anymore.

To clarify, i still have fanbox as my favourite site to work on, it's just paypal that's the issue, if left to fanbox, it would still be an option.

so what now? Patreon is not an option for obvious reasons. Eventually i'll try to give subscribestar a chance again (if you don't know they ignore every single email i have sent to ask for billing stuff), gumroad isn't an option, and with that i'm left with my outdated fantia account and fanbox. but i already explained the issue there.

thankfully, i like to save money to feel secure, and i have been doing that since i started working by myself, which means i have enough saved to "not worry" too much, but without income, money will run out.

Don't panic though, here's the thining, by the end of next month i'll know whether fanbox saves money unable to be withdrawn within the site or what, if it does so, we are OK, everything will keep going as usual here, but if not, then i'll let you know but i'll probably be stoping uploading content here (so basically anywhere) UNTIL i have a japanese bank account which i'll be able to link to fanbox and fantia.

Which bring me to my plans for next year, content was going to potentially slow down starting next year if not at the end of this one in preparations to me moving to japan.

I'll be doing so as student, and I WILL be a student, nothing shady like idiots do. After 6 months in japan one can open an japanese bank account, after that i could hopefully resume my work here (in case i'm not able to save my funds in fanbox). Though this isn't guaranteed as i don't know if there are and what limitations said hypothetical account have.

But that's 15 or so months away, so if substar doesn't go right, i'll not have income for over a year...

That's where commissions come along, i'm pretty sure i'll be able to still do commissions, and in this worse case scenario i just explained, i'll be stoping creating my own content AND reverting to only accepting/working from commissions, this from illustrations to animations as well. these commissions will allow me to not worry until then. All this will be announced in advance once i know for sure. said notice will be done by the end of next month.

For now, funny enough tomorrow i'll post a new page of one of my OC mangas, and the rest of the month and most of the following will continue as normal

This is one big possible change but also not the only option. i have been thinking on just give up and go sfw, or just sexy-ish, bikini and sutff, like the fanservice merch and promotions from animes and such, with adult fictional characters, creating a safe patreon... it hurts a bit but it's becoming the only option if the rest fails.

From here things are sort of unrelated so feel free to skip.

This is more unrelated but some of you know i have been working on an rpg (sfw) game, it's looking good, and if it works out, i might just switch to game debeloper/director with the friends i'm working with. (i can only dream haha) if you want to know what game i'm talking about, it's has barely had any activity in twitter but sooner than later it will start having updates with animations and developments "logs" of sorts. i'm also considering starting a youtube channel with said progress (https://twitter.com/GsTanukiProject)

The other thing is... My goals basically, i have 2 that can exist at the same time but i'm more than happy if it's just one. I want to live in japan, not in "shibuya", not in "akihabara", not in "kyoto", or "osaka", but "japan" a whatever place in there where i can live calmly... and this goal is so strong i won't doubt to give up my "artist career" to have a regular ol job there. The second goal is to create a studio, where i can lead, and create unnecesarely high quality animations, adaptations, games, photoshoots with pro models, etc. this is a "living in japan" goal, which can't be achieved if i don't live in japan to begin with.

A student visa only last up to 2 years, apparently there are courses that help you get a job there, so you can switch form student to worker, that's an option i also have, but the ideal is to do so directly into an animation studio, specifically one that already do what i do, porn, but i don't think staff in the academy will like to be involved in porn related work so this is up to me to figure out haha... either that or starting with a regular job
