I hope you continue with the X-Men film universe. There’s some really good movies among them and it would be great to see your reactions. You guessed Angel’s name right. The first 5 X-Men in the comics were Cyclops, Angel, Iceman, Beast and Marvel Girl (Jean). They later added Wolverine, Storm and some others and that’s when their popularity took off.

If you're enjoying X-Men then it's worth continuing with them in release order for the authentic experience, feeling the pain we felt with the weaker entries and the joy of the stronger ones (there's things to like in all of them). Whether you do reactions or watch just for yourself and do a "debrief" video is entirely your prerogative.

Thank you so much for the input!! Also yes i think its both sad that theres always something in society that xmen can be an allegory for but nice that it feels so rooted in reality

Out of all the things ive heard really good things about logan, the ‘97 series and deadpool for sure!

Great reaction Eme, and I loved to watch this movie again after all these years. I almost forgot how much I enjoy seeing Ian McKellen in the role of Magneto. Now I have only seen this OG trilogy and Logan, and the Deadpool movies. These I can really recommend but I would also like to know which of the other movies that were made in between are worth watching. Both the original 90’s X-men animated series and the new ’97 series I really love, a small recommendation from my side.

Great reaction! Since you asked, i definitely hope you continue the Xmen movie journey. I think the best Xmen movies are still ahead. (and yes, there are a couple worse ones too.) Others may disagree, but i think you could skip the first two wolverine solo movies. But the next two movies from the next set (First Class and Days of Future Past) are very good. And, of course, Logan and the Deadpools are already classics and very unique. Also, i love how the story has been so relatable over time to various groups that feel like outsiders. From the Jews after WW2, to the civil rights struggles, to LGBTQ people coping with feeling different and how much of themselves to share with others, to immigrants being treated like outsiders or criminals. It has what has kept the comics and movies so relevant for so long.

For me, Warren was the standout character. His mutant codename is Angel. Addie Counts would agree that his wings are beautiful. When Ashleigh Burton reacted to this, she said she wouldn’t even think of getting rid of such a badass power. I see both sides of the picture. Much like Logan, I also understand and respect that Rogue wants to have a normal life as a human. This topic resonates very strongly to real-life body rights. Her body her choice. Personally though, if I were a mutant and I could control my power I wouldn’t want to get rid of it. Rather I see myself and the X-Men helping each other out. They can teach me how to better control my ability, and I would gladly be part of the team if I can help make the world better. While we’re on the topic of X-Men, you still have a ways to go but you’ll be happy to know that Deadpool & Wolverine will be available for streaming on Disney Plus on Tuesday, November 12. Since you’re about to start phase five, there are definitely some new projects on the way. We’ll talk more about that later on, but there are two shows we already knew about that I wanna acknowledge: • First, we’re getting What If season 3 on Sunday, December 22nd. They’ll probably do like last time and drop a new episode a day. • Second, I wanna provide an update on Ironheart. We recently met Riri Williams portrayed by Dominique Thorne in Wakanda Forever. This series picks up after the events of the movie, and I have some good news about the release date. After the whole thing with the strikes last year, we were led to believe that we wouldn’t get it until next September. By some miracle, this new show will now premiere on Tuesday, June 24th.
