General Update #2.

Hi guys, TAD here back again, once again! I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend as always! :3 Today, I have some more information and updates about Feline Fantasies and Northern Ruby Island in general, so let's get to it!

First off, a question most of you guys have been wondering: will we be seeing a beta version of Northern Ruby Island at the end of this month? And after discussing it with my coder for a bit, it's going to be a 50/50. Let me explain why.

Let's take the best case scenario and I will have a beta version for you guys ready, then it means that at the moment, you can only play through Northern Ruby Island. Southern Ruby Island is completely broken at the moment because my coder is still transferring the old code into the new code he used for building Northern Ruby Island. Furthermore, for a lot of locations, the backgrounds have not been drawn yet, meaning the mini-games on these maps simply don't work yet. The specific items you'll have to earn will be simply given to you at this point then.

Other mini-games are nowhere done yet, so you'll be playing a product that's still in their testing phase. The ending isn't done yet either, so you can't complete the game yet and beat the game either. 

However, the thing that does hopefully work, is the ability to unlock and enjoy all six felines! So if I do get a beta somewhere this week, I hope it'll still make it worth it! :3 Keep in mind the game can still experience bugs and/or soft locks as well. 

My coder couldn't give my any promises, though. So if it doesn't work out, then I ask you guys to be a little bit more patient! I will guarantee that the completely finished product will be worth your while! I can assure that much! :D 

Other than that, I have a couple of more things to show you guys, as well as talk about. First off, I have shown screenshots of all felines before and how they'd look inside the game, except for Mittens! So for everybody who was wondering

Anyway, in other news, I have found a new writer who's going to help me with creating the F/F interactions on Northern Ruby Island! :D It's none other than the talented writer Arcane Reno!

He'll be starting with these dialogue trees next week, so hopefully I can show you guys some progress for that soon! :3  

Then, I have another thing to announce! For those who aren't aware, Feline Fantasies is a Flash game. Unfortunately, Flash won't be supported soon anymore with any browser, which means playing the game becomes a lot trickier in general. However, the ever so generous Side B has come to my aide and is currently recreating the game into Unity! That's right, Feline Fantasies is going to see a remake into Unity! For now, it's only going to cover Southern Ruby Island and we're just in development, but the end goal is to recreate the entirety of the game into Unity! Just to give you guys a comparison how that will look:

It's quite the difference, wouldn't you say? I think the difference in quality will be staggering once Southern Ruby Island is fully integrated into the Unity system! :3

Anyway, since we just started developing this, updates will be slow. I honestly expect that Southern Ruby Island will be fully ready and completed to be playable around December of this year on the Unity system!
