These are so great. I love getting to see people experience my favorite piece of media for the first time. Episode 11 is I think my favorite of the series before the movies, for the whole sequence between Violet and Aiden, for basically the reason you touched on. All the little details, the microexpressions, and empathy, and tenderness, she's just as deeply affected but no longer overwhelmed like with Anne in 10. She's fully into where her arc for the show was taking her at that point. Crushingly beautiful But the favorite individual scene has to be Violet with Gilbert's mother, and her saying to herself that she loves him (and actually understands it now)

There's some fun info that only exists in the Light Novel (such as how Violet has a battle axe called 'Witchcraft') and some other story changes, but KyoAni did such a great job with this series.
