Also, we're learning that Kurosawa is someone who appears nearly perfect to others, but who is insecure and very hard on himself. He always hides his own emotions to make others feel comfortable. Adachi is similarly not confident, but different in that others disregard him (but not Kurosawa). Kurosawa sees Adachi more clearly than Adachi can see Kurosawa with his wizard powers.
