I’m this close to dropping this series.... I can’t handle this level of (stupid) toxicity. There’s still no plot twist, Kim is still a beast that should be wiped off the map. And Jaemin seems like a manipulator and he's also clearly disturbed. I don’t see any redemption arc coming out of this mess.
The worst part is that I don’t even find Daon that likable.
Clingy puppy, you’d better find yourself another boyfriend… one that doesn’t come with two psycho nutcases attached.

You don't have to vomit your denigration on the great work of these actors and the writers of this extraordinary story... You have the right not to like, that is understandable, but you could at least respect the work of all those who created this story.

I agree! I also like Daon, and I can't wait for him to find out the whole truth and decide for himself!

Pretty obvious red flags on two of the gentlemen and one GIANT green one for the third ♥️💙

good eye.. I never picked up that about JaeMin's reasons for telling Da-On that especially when we now know that they were pretending to date.. so assuming he's manipulative makes sense.

This is actually a spoiler 😅 anything you’ve commented about ________, and motivations are spoilers. He hasn’t gotten to that point to see any of that yet. Might be next episode but right now he just knows they made a pact and that it seems both of them like Da-On.

I think as I'm rewatching this now, I understand people would say the agreement doesn't benefit either but to me it feels like JaeMin more wants Daon as a 'possession' as a puppy he saved but never actually wanted him romantically. that's why he asked Kim Su Hyeon 7 years ago in that scene if he liked DaOn and when he found out he did he did that 'agreement' to stop them from really dating . no spoilers just judging it based on what I saw it in this episode.

is it bad that I would enjoy the constant grab hands from Kim Su Hyeon and it would excite me lol... he 'loves' hard lol. I see a tortured soul behind those eyes yearning 'to come out' lol... his mother in previous episodes was trying to set him up with woman.. his family clearly doesn't know he's gay.. is it bad I empathize with him LOL.

what I love about this show is the breadcrumbs it gives u.. it tells the story so well without really giving anything up.. u are constantly confused and eventually all the pieces are going to be revealed/twists are gonna be GAGGY and manipulation is the main plot but from WHO !

I've read two reasons for this. First it's to show that Daon isn't very confident so he wears bigger clothes that don't properly fit him. The other is they were trying to make him more "small" and petite-looking. The actor/idol Junseo is actually quite fit and has bigger muscles so they tried to draw attention away from that.

I won't say anything specific to avoid spoilers but the agreement wasn't to save the friendship. The next episodes explain it further.

I do really love this show, but the characters logic is very odd. I get that there going for a neither of us can date him to save the friendship thing, but they don't seem to be good enough friends for that to make sense to me. Especially in the present day as they seem to hate each other.

So, costuming observation: Daon is known for dressing in designer clothes...but they don't look like they really fit him correctly? They're just a bit too big? Not sure if I'm seeing right, and if I am, what's the metaphorical meaning?

I get Jaemin and Suhyeon are frustrating but I love mess so they are my favorite characters especially Suhyeon 😅 I agree though that Daon should end up with Sunghyeon because he's genuinely a great guy. That scene in the movie theater when he asks him to hold his hand is such a subtle sexy move.

But why?! We can’t tell you yet, but we can confirm that you’ve not missed anything. The only thing of note which might have been slightly glossed over is when JaeMin is thinking about Da-On’s confession to him. He thinks of it in the order of
1) JaeMin tells Da-On that Soo-Hyeon is back from abroad
2) Da-On confesses to JaeMin
In the last episode, JaeMin tells Da-On, through tears, that Soo-Hyeon wants to get back together with him, and even asks him whether or not he should do it. He’s manipulative AF
Also, we finally got the dog sounds to accompany the cat ones. Also, awesome Grandma

I'm like you, I felt the same things about Kim and Jaemin... They are already doomed for me, they are so toxic, each in their own way... No matter what happens next...
All the episodes are very good but this one is particularly good... I really loved the ending ! How well built it is ! How well is it filmed and how well is it interpreted by each actor !! … I loved it !
Of course, we only understand as we go along... So, here, we don't have all the keys yet, we have to be patient. But this end of the episode marks a big step in understanding the relationships between the characters.
You noticed Kim's obsession with Daon... He spends the night in his car, downstairs... He calls her a good thirty times before making the decision to search Jaemin's apartment...
What I have already noticed at this point is that Ju seong's attitude always surprises Daon (during the tie scene, in the restaurant or when they are at the cinema) as if the attitude of someone deeply caring, he had never known it... He doesn't understand Ju seong's attitude because no one has ever shown him this... And as if he himself did not understand the strong power of seduction he exerts on others... And that, in my opinion, is also a key point in the story to understand all that this has generated for all these years... Before asking questions about Kim and Jaemin (and we have to ask ourselves, that's for sure), we need to understand Daon's personality and what he exudes around him...
I understand that you like Ju seong, he's quite easy to like, given the context... But my favorite character is Daon... So complex, so tortured and so handsome !

I feel very comforted by the fact that we had the same reaction to this episode 😂 cause what do you MEAN agreement so neither of us dates him????

I love how Seong-hyeon takes initiative and is assertive, without being aggressive. He's just a really green flag boyfriend 😍
