In Purgatory - chapter 1 (script)

There are two platforms separated in the boundless sky, one connected to an upward staircase; the other connected to a downward one.

Looking up, there's an endless sky, while looking down reveals an abyss of infinite darkness.

DogDay sees CatNap walking downwards on the other side of the staircase while DogDay is ascending.


DogDay: Catnap!

Catnap doesn't look back at him.

DogDay: It's over for us, for you. Don't you want to say something?

Catnap: ...


Catnap: I have failed. I should feel ashamed, but I can offer myself to God. To be killed by Him in the end is an honor for me. I'm glad I can-

DogDay: Enough!

DogDay takes off his sun pendant and is about to throw it out.

DogDay: Dogday says ... fetch!

DogDay throws the sun pendant.

Catnap steps back several steps, curling up at the edge of the platform.

Catnap:I'm scared, I won't be indifferent anymore, I'm sorry... Don't leave me...

Catnap screams in agony on the platform.

Catnap, who is usually calm and gentle, screams in agony on the platform. He has never reacted like this before.

Catnap holds DogDay and they plummet into the abyss together surrounded by screamings.

在無邊際的空間，有相隔一段距離的兩個平台，一個連接著向上的樓梯；另一個則連接著向下的。
抬頭看是無止境的天空，低頭看，腳下是無止境的黑暗深淵。

D在朝上走的那端，望到在另一邊朝下走的C。

D：Catnap！
C沒有回頭看他。
D：我們，你，都結束了！你就不想說點什麼嗎？
C：...

C：我失敗了，我應該感到羞愧，但我能將自己奉獻給神，最後是被他殺死，是我的榮幸…
我很高興能-
D：夠了！
D：你真的這麼想的嗎？...在最後的時間，哪怕有一點點懊悔，你都可以大聲講出來，沒有人會責怪你...沒有人...

D拔下自己的太陽吊牌，準備要扔出去。

或者，你願意的話請留著它，讓我守護你，在黑暗的那邊不會寒冷受怕。

D：Dogday says ... fetch!
D把太陽吊飾扔過去。

聽到這句話，C回想到從前一起玩接球遊戲，都是D自己接自己撿，C總是在一旁睡覺...
回過神來，看到太陽吊牌正要落到平台之外，C見狀驚慌地接住，並緊抓於胸懷，深怕吊牌墜入不見底的深淵。

C：不！不！不要這樣，啊啊啊！
C：你在做甚麼！
C退後了好幾步，蜷縮在平台邊緣。
我好害怕，我不會無動於衷了，對不起...不要離開我...
神啊，請告訴我這不是對的，這不是...嗚嗚嗚
請把他們還給我啊啊啊啊啊！

C在平台上撕心裂肺的慘叫，平常平靜溫順的他根本不曾有這種反應。
D：你還好嗎？我…我很抱歉…
C：我根本就不應該活著…
D：請不要這麼說，被神拯救的你是你，與陪伴小夥伴的你是你，我喜歡的你也是你。
我感謝神救下你讓我遇見你，讓我們一起忘記那些不好的事，努力洗刷掉罪惡，好嗎？

C緩緩站起身，看起來平復了許多，他突然伸長他的尾巴，以一個難以想像長度，跨越平台之間的深壑，來到D的面前。

C：run or sun...

D除了驚訝C的尾巴居然能伸那麼長以外，更多的是疑惑這句話的意思。

D：呃...sun？
C用尾巴摟住D的身體，將他拉到半空中。
D：哇啊啊！！
C縱身跳躍，在半空中抓住並橫抱住D。

眼看兩人即將落下。

D：你在做什麼？我們要掉下去啦！
C：你說你要和我一起度過難關對吧！
D：是這樣沒錯...啊啊啊，好高啊！

很久沒被C這樣抱著，D感到有些害臊。
但因為往下墜的恐懼讓他不由得緊抓住C。
C：謝謝你！我的最愛！我的大太陽
D：啊啊啊什麼？
C：讓我們幹翻地獄吧！下輩子也要在一起！請抓緊我！！
D：好的啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊-
C抱著D隨著慘叫聲一起墜往深淵...
