Before any new progress reports, just wanted to show something I've been cooking a bit. Well, technically, this is a progress report as I did work on this quite a bit lately haha.
I've been working with with a UI designer and my coder on some aspects of the game, figured why not for the reworked state next release, make it a fresh visual overhaul of the UI too?
Old UI was... Nice. Cozy. It did have too many elements that weren't fitting together visually, but it was a cute mess. Now I've gone a few steps further, and it now has a fresh, modern, and most important, clean design.
There are also some new functions, such as save toggle (Wooo finally works!), but of course the main focus is the design. There are still a few things not fully implemented, and some shown might see a tweak or two such as font sizes etc. But yea, overall, almost done with UI.
There is also a working Phone when MC is messaging other characters, but I didn't show that in the video Some of the other things you'll have to wait and see (and some aren't done 😁)

2024-05-15 20:44:43 +0000 UTC"technically" we already had it (save names), but it was quite clunky, often annoying people if they started typing anything. Biggest issue was for some Android users as it was pop out a keyboard always which is annoying 😅 Still need to figure out one part of it (as toggling it off still names new saves same as your last, will try to see if I can force it to not do that)
