Hahaha long comments are required for end of seasons xD I swear the things that got me hooked the most were Aki, wanting to see what the gun devil is up too but mostly how shitty can Makima get to get to her goals, I agree, super interesting character. Did you keep going with the manga in OP? I'm pretty much where the anime is right now T.T but I got spoiled about the end of Wano with something regarding Law I just remembered with your comment 😅 Hahaha and I also think it's just the devil being %^$ otherwise taking all those senses doesnt make sense 🤣

Uranai it's understandable not being fully into the show at the start, for me I just thought Denji was pretty unique with his choice of goals 🤣, attitude and how he's gone from nothing like sharing a piece of bread with Pochita to living a better life now (minus being able to pet Pochita 💔) and wanting to see how he progesses but I was drawn in a lot by the world itself and the other characters, I love most of them with Aki being my favourite but Makima interests me the most as you mentioned in ep 11s reaction "I don't know whether to hate her or love her" which is so true and she is truly terrifying 😬. The Aki and Himeno stuff in this episode was heartbreaking especially when he said "Himeno I'll be with you soon" 😥, seeing the flashbacks of her and the music just really made it hit hard but I'm glad we got to see Aki enjoying himself and smiling while kicking that guy in the nuts with Denji 🤣 (the damn bell sound effects too 😐 ahahaha), and also in the ending with Denji and Power ❤. Seeing him with them kinda gives me a similar feeling of Law with the straw hats, like a father/teacher figure trying to be serious while the others are most likely goofing around and not listening hahahaha but Aki seems to enjoy their company. Also you said "What do they do with the eyes, and sense of taste and smell?" Regarding contracts with devils In episode 11s reaction. I've wondered that myself, as when they first talked about contracts I assumed it was gonna just be blood related as it seems that devil's like/feed off blood but I'm pretty confused why they would want someone's sense of smell or taste? Maybe it's just a prank by the devil? 🤔🤣 hopefully this will be explained more in season 2. (Apologies for the super super long comment, it's two reaction thoughts in one 😅. The issue is that it's my laptop screen and it's quite small but when I use an external monitor I have to put it farther away and I can't see the subtitles well because I have myopia and astigmatism. I just need glasses but I hate wearing them. All my fault🤣 But yeah I have a tv like that, seriously all night scenes is just a black screen

Aki was actually using the future devils power the whole time he was fighting, when he was being choked that was just a normal flashback scene that every anime does when a character is in trouble xd Also yeah I think you should definitely upgrade to a better monitor because i've been noticing for a long time that you often say that you cant see whats going on on the screen. You probably have some ancient monitor that doesn't show darker colors very well or something xd. I remember old TVs being like that and just staring at a black screen when there were nighttime scenes.
