Quickie Update [26/4/2024]

Here's a few updates before I return to working on Nico Robin:
Going forward, I will no longer accept story submissions for animated pin-ups. I will instead curate a set of ideas and put those forward for patrons to vote on. Hopefully, this can introduce a bit more variety to what wins a poll. To replace those story suggestion posts, I may open a generalised suggestion post for each character that wins a poll, and you can offer ideas that I may or may not take.
I'm considering changing how and when I publish miniRPG demos: instead of publishing something every month, I'll publish the next demo when I feel I've made a significant amount of changes that are worth you playing, and worth me going through the rigmarole of publishing the animation. I may put this to a poll, see what patrons think. However, at the very least, I will always do an "MiniRPG Update Post" at the end of the month, so you can be kept in the loop as to what I've done and how long until the next demo. I've already made a bunch of progress this month, but I don't feel there's that much there to warrant a new demo just yet.
Charlie Morningstar's Patreon Deluxe will be finished sometime next month. I'll begin work on that once I've finished Nico Robin's runner-up animation and done a little more work on the miniRPG.

Well that part is correct: I am no longer accepting story suggestions for animations ie the animated pin-ups. Instead, all story ideas that patrons can vote on will be provided by myself, and I will come up with as many as possible. Charlie's animation will be the last one (for now) that allowed story ideas from patrons. However, I will likely still open a suggestion post so Suggestive Pixels and up can suggest ideas for content, or let me know about lore that might help flesh a character out. Sorry if this was not the news you wanted to hear!

2024-04-27 01:27:51 +0000 UTCOOOH right, Charlotte is her full name my bad XD And no, Charlie was a winner of an animated pin-up, with the usual Normal & Deluxe animations. These animations used to be much shorter, so I called them "animated pin-ups", but now that they're so long they don't really qualify for that term. I suppose I should just call them animations at this point and drop the "animated pin-up" term to stop the confusion lol. So yes, Charlie's animations are a full game / animation, not just a DimMini or short. Does that help clear things up?

2024-04-27 01:21:53 +0000 UTCSorry, Charlotte's just her actual name. And by "full-fledged game" I mean something other than a single panel animated short, like the Dimi-Minis you used to do. In the Charlie animation there are multiple scenes to click through, so I thought that made it a game and not just a pin-up or a short.
