Added 2025-10-08 09:15:38 +0000 UTCSlight delay with this weeks uploads due to me working on a clients project. Filmed with these Anamorphic beauties yesterday. These are the Atlas Orion Anamorphic lenses SET B. 32mm, 50mm and 80mm.
These lenses were also used in The Batman movie. I mentioned in the Reaction video that I love using these. Cost for this set - £28,024.60 inc VAT.
If I had enough money to buy these outright I'd lease these out. Great investment! It also allows people, even new to filming and cameras to try out these out.
If you look closely you can see the oval shaped aperture, normally it's circular (sphercial). It's recorded and captured squeezed and then the camera (after telling it) to de-squeeze it. That is how it captures that movie/filmic widescreen look. Isn't it lovely!
You can also see the blue tint on the glass and so when you get lens flares, they come out blue.
BTW, these are ridiculously heavy and you can see why. Lots going on within the casing.

I had no idea just a few months ago what I wanted to do but I’ve always loved behind the scenes in movies so when I came across you it’s really inspired me to look into it for a career. Much love!
