This was so much fun to watch. It allowed me to enjoy the cinematic qualities that the game brings to the forefront and then immediately kill me with jump scares galore. Fastest couple of hours ever and my goodness, this was like watching a movie and I'm in love with it. Even the troupe parts which I found hilarious.
I can't wait for Part 2 of this.
Thank you guys for such an awesome recommendation for the current month. It was a Chef Kiss! Also, Happy Spooktober! More horror/scary things to come, well I find them scary.

You'd love the entire Dark Pictures Anthology! It's pretty much the exact same thing but in different stories, all absolutely amazing (and to play, highly recommended!!!) can't wait to see your reactions to this!

As someone who loves cinema and also videogames, stuff like Until Dawn is great because it's an imaginative blending of two different mediums (games, movies). I feel that as the graphics of games have advanced further in the last decade, stuff like this has become more viable due to the sheer detail that wasn't possible in the past. Some people just play multi-player games like Call of duty, but I absolutely love games as a medium for story telling. I could talk for days about the pros (and cons) that the medium of video games offers for storytelling compared to traditional movies. Anyways, glad to see you seem to be enjoying this so far. I'd love to see you cover other similar games in the future such as The Quarry (made by the same devs as until dawn, it came out in 2023). It wasn't as good as until dawn but it was still worth the time in my opinion
