This week I talk about how I was absolutely crushed emotionally after the Super Bowl, and just why oh why it meant so much for my team to win (yet they sadly did not); the assorted movies, anime, video games, and books I've enjoyed over the past month; and last but not least, I answer YOUR questions as well as share a pretty fun story about how I "crashed" a famous Disney movie's red carpet event years back.

(What's funny is that for this being the Cozy Corner, I didn't actually have a cup of coffee with me as I recorded this ๐ Talk about a missed opportunity! What's funny, though, is that I've recorded countless audios about the most spiciest topics out there, but would you believe it if I said it was actually this audio right here that got me the most nervous!?
I dunno but something about recording straight and just letting my flow of consciousness out into the world for the first time like this had me a little anxious. But hey, I survived it and I actually learned a lot from this experience! I'm hoping the next episode feels a little more coherent and better organized, however, be sure to let me know any feedback ya might have!)

Mind you, I was quite young when this happened so while I was naive I did also hope she would end up coming through which she did! 2024-04-23 15:33:05 +0000 UTCWhen you finished the whole story about the Pirates of the Caribbean premiere I got a bit surprised because I was just expecting with my whole heart for the woman to con you and not pay you back the 80 bucks, but if you didn't mention losing the money, I'm guessing she did. Which is hilarious because the entire time she sounded super sus. Guess I'm too suspicious of people making strangers pay for their things, even if it's a temporary solution.

Ngl, I was trying to not spend too much money, but I knew Iโd cave in and subscribe to you. What shocked me is that I always assumed Iโd cave after listening to the preview of one of your nsfw audios, but I caved after listening to your podcast preview. It is just so amazing to hear about who you are and what you do outside of the audios!! For the podcast itself, I loved the length. I listened to it today and I got ready and got to and from school. You reply as much as you want ๐โ๏ธ And what I love about literature and books is just how striking their word pictures and visuals can be despite being just words, and then seeing how they relate to a thought or an emotion that the author is trying to convey. So I'm happy you could feel just how on the nose that brutal metaphor was but also be intrigued enough to read the book! ๐๐ And thank you so much for the feedback on this first episode too as I'm still trying to find my legs with it, so to speak. I recently watched Perfect Days and reccomending it to everybody I talk to, a film that appreciates the little things in life. The importance of being present, and how that can make the most mundane task feel significant and worthwhile, all of this with a ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ง๐ฆ๐ค๐ต soundtrack. Can't wait to hear the other episodes! โจ

2024-02-22 20:35:29 +0000 UTCHi Gentle, a few thing that came to mind, I hope it's not too much for one comment So first of all, 45:40 ; I understand it's a metafor, but if that ever happen to me, I would simply pass away ๐ so brutal way to paint that feeling and so effective too, because it's really like that, something clearly wrong but you are getting dismissed and how frustrating it is, I'll absolutly give a try to that book, so thank you for the recommendation ๐ About the length of the potcast, I think it was the perfect amount of everything: recent events/media recommendation/answering questions and of course you sharing a personal story of yours I very much enjoyed everything (even the super bowl part too, even tho I'm european and know nothing about it, but you made that part intresting too) and I think it's safe to say we who subscribed to your patreon would listen to anything from you, even if you rambling about nothing for 2 hours ๐โค๏ธ Can't wait for the next episode ๐
