The polt thickens. Or at least it appears.
Added 2017-09-20 00:17:24 +0000 UTCIt's finally here! The next big content update to Hornsville is now live! I got a bit delayed by the sheer amount of work this one took but hopefully it was worth it!
A VERY IMPORTANT THING FIRST: There will be no more codes sent out for patrons of $5 pledge level above. Instead each of you should look for a specific post that will tell you the URL of the patron only version. Follow the instructions in the post to access it! This way both new and old patrons should be able to access the content faster.
Because of how big some of the changes in this month's update are, now the patron only version and the public version are separate files. Please note which version you are using when sending me a bugreport!
And now all the nice things:
This update is HUGE! It's the biggest one yet! I will try to list all the stuff here but I am really really tired so might end up missing some things.
Alltogether:
- 500k characters (about 100 000 words) of written content
- 36 new images
- The phone, a completely new tool to the game
- 2 New locations
- 16 new, sexable NPCs
- Helen's storyline extended
- Lily's dating scenes extended and reworked
- Dave got a new scene
Gamification:
- Skills are now harder to increase and more important overall.
- Sex skills are increased by having the appropriate type of sex multiple times.
- Certain places have a dresscode and require you to wear the appropriate clothing to enter.
- Dating Lily and Dave got more complicated but hopefully more rewarding.
- Introducing the phone! Now you can keep track of your contacts and even call some of them if it's needed.
- Introducing the Gift shop: buying things for certain NPCs is needed to advance their storyline
- Introducing the Casino: a chance to earn some money if you are lucky, a chance to earn some money by cheating (unless you get caught...) and a chance to meet some very friendly NPCs
- Introducing Hornsville's main plot! What could be that mysterious app be that you find installed onto your phone?
Whoring 101
- If you are experienced with sex enough you can now earn some money by selling your body. Not all clients are pleasant though. Maybe take care not to be seen as a cheap whore to avoid the really nasty ones.
- If you want to hire whores instead you can look for a pimp who will get you anyone your heart desires. It only costs a little extra...
- Do you have a submissive who adores you and hangs on your every word? Why not send them out to the Red Light district to earn some money for you?

Awesome update! Some bugs though (Patron version): unless I'm missing something there doesn't seem to be a way to manually put on your maid uniform again if you change into something else, which means if you change into club or casino clothes, you'll always get spanked by your boss the next day no matter what. Also, the William Deyfus Platinum Token task gets cut off because every bet you try to make goes to a broken link, "(goto:)'s 1st value is the number 50, but should be a string." You also can't fuck Said's ass, the link is broken. Looking forward to more great stuff!
