What is you preference when looking at sexual scenes?
Added 2024-10-29 18:41:11 +0000 UTCThis poll is to gain some insights in how you all prefer to enjoy the sexual scenes. Keep in mind that this poll is only about text and video's/gifs, and not the AI generated images.
Currently all nsfw scenes are first made with text only, the entire scene is written out and afterwards I go through them again to see if certain porn clips can be added. Unfortunately, this second step takes quite a lot of time. When I started with the game, I added a few porn clips to see how it feels but I sometimes find that it could break the immersion of the game, that's why I'm interested in hearing how you feel about it.

I care about each page of erotic text having visual accompaniment, but if that's only a still picture sometimes, that's fine.

So I will express my opinion here : It is story ridden game, so obviosly the text is important, BUT as somebody already mentioned, and i quote "I feel that the clip, or some other visual element significantly improves the experience. " And with this I definetly agree, and I am going to add that seeing MORE original generated art and sometimes some gifs (I think like 70 % original art - 30 % gifs ratio would be the sweet spot) would be definetly great addition to the game. There are tons of Text only games so your art and gifs addition was definetly fresh breath, of which i would love to see more :)

2024-10-30 15:26:57 +0000 UTCI use the pixel art setting and much prefer reading and imagining it myself than having a video. I dunno, it's like... reading it lets me visualize and immerse in it. Having a reference pic can help or hinder but not too much. A full on clip takes me out of the story and I think I might as well just watch the full video instead. :/

Quality of the content is what's important to me, and there should be some balance if considering text : media ratio. I like the balance that the game has had so far. Media can help break up walls of text, and text helps to stimulate the imagination better than generic media content can.

2024-10-29 19:28:31 +0000 UTCYeah, I would say that the verbiage of the question is a bit misleading as well. I enjoy images or gifs with my text. Both are important, and I think a great game of this type should include both. Given how hard it is to find stock images in genre of overtly sexual stuff can be tricky, a few images could help get it there just as easily. At least for me. I guess I'd say that I need something visual to go with the text, but that can look like a lot of things.
