A Prince's Tale v0.3.2 - public release

Hey everyone,

I'm coming to you with a special update on a special day. One year ago today was when I first uploaded this game online and so I'm bringing you a whole new Anniversary update!

It feels strange that it is already one whole year ago since I started this adventure. Back when I first uploaded the game, I had no idea it would get this much support. I didn't have any expectations for a niche smut game that focuses quite a lot on a somewhat decent story and setting. I simply released it because I liked it, but immediately after release I was blown away by the response. The love and amazing positivity I have received from you all is simply amazing.

I am so incredibly grateful for the support and I never would've been able to continue development on this idea without it. Recently I have decided to get even more committed to the game. Reflecting on the past year, most of it still felt like a hobby project. Something that I'd work on whenever I had some free time. But now this has actually changed, I want to keep working on it and bring more content for the game at a higher pace by trying to work on it full-time now. There's lots of exciting things that are in the pipeline that I can't wait to share once they're finished.

This update also feels like a big milestone. Funnily enough, my original vision for the game is finally showing itself now - one year later. I won't spoil anything but I'll just say that a silly pun in the game's title that I had thought of over a year ago is now finally realized. This new chapter of the game is something I have been working towards for so long now, it feels exhilarating to now release the start of it.

Even literally, this update is more reflective. With a new artifact called the Tome of Memories you will be able to replay earlier events in the game that are normally not repeatable. It's quite fun to leaf through some of the big things that happen in the game.

• Introducing a dramatic ending to chapter 3 after a emotional confrontation with Morgana and the start of a brand new chapter.

  • Currently the new chapter is only available if you choose a long-awaited monumental decision-the decision to finally become a princess instead.

  • This means that the prince is introduced to all new princess lessons, where you will be helped by Sybille, Hyssop, and Kathryn, who will train you on comport, fashion, and etiquette.

  • These princess lessons will remain secret to the rest of the council until it is decided to come out during a council meeting, which will be where the story continues in the next update.

• A fascinating new artifact to unlock: the Tome of Memories allows you to jump back in time and relive any major non-repeatable events that the prince has experienced.

  • Unlock the new artifact through the Royal Reliquary after bringing up your Princely stats.

• Fixed the Magic Circle artifact to actually work properly and added some new quality of life improvements to it.

• Added a new spicy scene with Caspar.

  • After spying on him at night together with Wymerus, you might find him alone the next night and can offer to 'train' together with him instead.

• Added an icon to signify when going for a romance option in the story.

• You can now buy a different chastity cage to swap to at Beau's smithy. You will need to be wearing a chastity cage in order to do this.

• If you have chosen to not drink Morgana's potion in the first chapter, you can now still buy this potion later at any point from her store.

• Early Morgana scenes from when she visits you in your bedroom have been rewritten slightly so that you can also choose to decline Morgana's advances instead.

• Fixed the character portraits on the map sometimes loading incorrectly.
