Here’s some behind the scenes for my most recent artwork! Ft. a thumbnail-sketch-to-final progression, along with some side by side detail comparisons at different stages of my process.

(Personally it gives me a lot of dopamine to hold up my ugly-duckling WIPs next to the final product, especially after a long day spent shading tentacles at 600x magnification 😂 I can only hope it’s interesting to see from the other side, too!)
