I just rewatched your entired I-land reaction and let me tell you it isn't an easy show to rewatch T-T I obviously knew that Sunoo made it to the team but I was still sooo stressed for my boy! I finally watch &Audition a few weeks ago, and I don't know why it took me so long because I missed my boy EJ, I'm so glad their all happy in their own group! I hope you'll watch the show someday, it was really healthy, I loved seeing K smile so much and being so goofy ! Also hope you're doing well Cam, we miss you <3

2024-07-08 01:06:21 +0000 UTCMy conspiracy theory is that there can never be two "aces" in a hype group. It is why Heeseung didn't debut with TXT because they already had Yeonjun. I personally feel like this season of Iland was built for him. (obviously not the building of the show, just this particular season). You can really tell from how they edited him in from Day 1. Like Bang PD said let me build a group around him. The same reason &audition was made for K. Taki wouldn't have made it into Enhypen because they were saving him for ace K in &Team. Like I said this is all conspiracy lol

2024-04-05 21:44:06 +0000 UTCOmg just felt so gutted for K, but realizing that he was the one that didn't fully fit the group despite being amazing, as sad as it was I do think they made the right choice and am happy to see him in a group with Taki, EJ and Nicholas who he was super close to. But I must admit theres still a part of me thats wondering why they didnt make an exception and put 8 members instead, it was so so close and he was the centre for a lot of parts. Toughie.

2023-12-11 21:40:57 +0000 UTCI remember this, again sunoo was always first with a big marge so when jungwon was at risk a lot of sunoo Stan thinking he was obviously safe voted for him. A big difference with boys planet and produc 101 is that there , there were a lot of contestants so you had your ultimate faves ans potential début list. In I-land since there were much less people it was really hard to vote because we mostly voted for a certain group and less for one individual. I was obviously a Jake fan but when I saw jungwon,sunghoon or jay being at risk I deviated my votes to help save them and a lot of viewers did the same. That's why the ranking deviated so much for example for Jay when he came last in the ranking and here for jungwon. Also big example is that here Heeseung cam 5th because some fan voted for fellow contestants knowing he'd get in since he had one of the biggest fandom at the time.

But i'm still upset they dropped Sunoo so hard. That was fucking painful to watch. I was watching and voting for Boys Planet as it aired and I voted always for my faves. Even when they were doing well in the rankings. I learned from Sunoo. Sooo please watch Enhypen and Hi and Boys Planet thaaanks. Loved watching with you ❤️

AND timing wise as well i feel like it makes sense to watch it since the boys from that show are very active rn since they just debuted - I would love to watch your favs throughout the show

You get to see them move into their dorm, pick a leader, and prepare for their first album. It's not very long of a series either so it would be relatively quick!

It did brought me back memories and i just hope you watch enhypen&hi so you can see the growth and behind the scenes of the preparation of their debut! I really really hope you watch it! It’s a 4 episode season that was uploaded on youtube! It really does bring a different perspective on the members after coming together as a group and bonding at the same time they’re preparing for debut! I also hope you watch en o clock !! it’s their reality tv show like run bts! en o clock is personally one of my favorite shows!! it’s incredibly funny !!

Takes me back to iland days and watching the live at 7am. I was on the edge of my seat when Sunoo wasn’t called. You’re right, Cam. Lot of Sunoo stans ( myself included) believed he was safe and we put our votes to other members, especially Jungwon. I was an emotional wreck when it was down to K and Sunoo. I liked K at the time as well and just accepted he would be picked by the producers. The moment Sunoos name was announced I SCREAMED…I am so glad producers chose him but how I see it…Sunoo will always be #1 for global and the only area he didn’t get #1 was from the producers in previous episodes. Sunoo needed to prove his strength and growth to the producers.

2023-12-09 03:08:53 +0000 UTCpeople 100% just assumed sunoo would place first and then panic voted for the others who they thought had a slim chance of making it (like jungwon). but, that becomes an issue when everyone thinks that way, causing him to drop all the way to 8th in global votes!! (the only time two people were guaranteed to debut from a survival show was hanbin and hao from zb1 during boys planet, those two weren't going anywhere no matter what lol their popularity is massive). i wasn't around for the i-land times, but so many people were pissed sunoo was chosen over K. but, sunoo was 100% the right choice. i like K, i'm not one of those stupid fans who holds grudges like that, but thinking about the group dynamics it wouldn't have made sense to choose K. Sunoo has fantastic vocals, and adds that bright energy the group needs. in my opinion, K has that blinding center star quality that heeseung has, and having two of those people in one group simply wouldn't work!! i was so happy when i found out he would debut with EJ, nicholas, and taki, they all deserve it so much!!!

As Ni-Ki said it would have been dark without him. I think it was the best decision. I'm also glad that K and most of the boys debuted 💓💓💓 They sure deserved it after the trauma this show gave them. As for the next show it would be awsome if you could watch Enhypen&Hi to finally see our boys happy. But I'm not gonna lie, Boy Planet is the frutiest and funniest thing on planet and also heartbreaking (9 out of 98 debuted). You gonna love it. 😄

Cam if you watch &Audition I will cry 😭 (good tears haha) After ILand was finished, especially because of his age (22), K had almost given up his dream as most idols don't debut that late (23 or 24 in Korean age). But, at some point he was called to debut in a group with 3 other ex-Ilanders: Taki, Nicholas, and EJ, to which he accepted. They were chosen to be the debut members of the group that would debut out of the show &Audition which aired last year, and were honestly supposed to debut earlier, but because of COVID, that didn't happen and they had to wait another year. But, if you watch Enhypens Drunk-Dazed again, you might see a little surprise that hinted at the new group 😉 The show itself is called &Audition and was such a different format compared to ILand. Unlike this show which was intense and a little traumatic, &Audition was a breath of fresh air. It was nice to see the members having more fun and having more of a chance to showcase themselves. Especially for members like EJ and Nicholas who hardly made much of an appearance in ILand. At the time, I only really biased Taki, but the show helped me to grow more fond of all of them. Especially EJ! Somehow that show made him become my bias 😭 Of course..like any survival show, there was one element that kept us on our toes.. Anyways, if you decide to watch it or not, I understand! If you decide not to and just wanna jump into &Team, then I recommend checking out their pre-debut MV 'Under the skin'! The MV itself, while it is lore-heavy, also is reflective of their journey as a group to become who they are. It reflects their rl story. (Especially one scene with K that, as a fan who became aware of the things that the boys went through to get there, completely broke me. ) Anyways, thanks so much for watching ILand and for loving all of our boys! I hope you're doing a little better now that you finished the show 😆

Even though I know the line-up, I cried again haha when I first watched this show, I was happy for Jay my I-Land bias but I was sad for Daniel and K. However, when I saw the final line-up for Enhypen, it made sense. I feel like Sunoo balances the group well and brings something to the group that I don't think K could've brought. And I love K! But I think the groups they ended up in are perfect. And yes! K was chosen with Taki, EJ and Nicholas to debut in &Team! Which I agree is fate. Because he's with Taki 🥲 Also we're still waiting for Daniel to debut, but there's rumors he's going to debut with the new Pledis group next year! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this show with us!! I had fun crying with you 😆

I would recommend watching Enhypen&Hi which shows them straight after this episode and preparing for their debut, and also En o'clock which is their own variety show similar to RunBTS :) I can't wait to see more of you getting to know Enhypen and maybe even watching &Audition to see the other members from iland debut :)

I agree that Into the I-Land is just a beautiful and emotional song and it really brings out so much memories of the show. I cried so much during that performance. It's just so beautiful to see all of them on one stage. I am so happy with the line up. I was especially happy for Ni-ki because he deserved to debut with all of his hard work at such a young age at 14, being a leader to the hyungs and dealing with so much stress. Today (12/9 in Korea) is his biggest his birthday. He officially turned 18 today. And with Jake, he is the definition of Icon of Growth, with less training and later becoming a performance genius and variety king in Enhypen. Jungwon ranking first shocked me but at the same it didn't because of how he ranked first a couple time and get a lot of praise. And yes Jungwon is the leader. It was between Heeseung and Jungwon but Heeseung turn down the role. Also Jungwon is very well spoken and showed a great amount as leader. My love Jay ranking second got me jump out of my seat! My boy Jay ❤️❤️❤️ I love him so much. I cried in joy all day because of making it. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 For Heeseung, Sunghoon, and Sunoo, I knew they already bound to make it in the group because they were really popular throughout the show. Thank you so much for reacting to I-Land and I absolutely enjoyed watching it with you. It brought back so much memories and tears. So thank you so much. I am a proud Engenes and my life dedicated to Enhypen forever. Can't wait to see your next reactions to their award performances because they are know to be amazing performers. Thanks again! 😊
