MNet could (should) not have evil edited him. Alternately, Ricky could have said, "Hey, Kamden, he's translating" or something along those lines, so the rest of us who also don't speak Chinese could be clued in. And he was aware he was being evil edited.. I also found out that in his part of Limousine, Krystian threw in a verse in Chinese as a fuck you to MNet. #justiceforKrystian

Kamden is American, we think Brian may be Canadian (?), and Ricky, Krystian and the others are Chinese (although I often forget because Ricky is blond & does speak English.) Kamden does not speak Chinese... and three of the group members do not speak English. Krystian speaks both English and Chinese. Mandarin speakers have confirmed.... Krystian actually was not cutting off & constantly interrupting Kamden. He was translating what he was saying for the group members who don't speak English. Not to downplay Kamden's frustration- that was real, and legitimate. But Krystian wasn't the bad guy. MNet was the villain here.

He's just so amazing. I also really love Haruto, he was my 2nd pick right after Jay <3 He has a loveable personality. I just wish rappers were given a better opportunity to shine in these shows :// It's also super important to remember that it's a popularity contest, not a talent one (obviously being talented helps) A lot of people view being handsome as a talent, especially in Korea. No matter how good the other team is, if another team is more popular they're going to win. On that note when the placements come please look at the comparisons of Korean votes vs Global votes, it gives you a really good idea of who's popularity is where. Also unfortunately the voting is slightly biased toward Korean voters even though it says it is scaled 50/50 the ratio of Korean to Global voters is super small so each Korean vote is valued way more. One Korean vote could equal 20 Global votes, kind of important to keep in mind.

I don't know if I should spoil, so I will just say don't worry A TON of these guys end up ok and have debuted this year in groups that suit them well (or solo...or both...its kind of nuts). Jay in particular of my three favorites does not disappoint after the show.

2024-01-06 13:17:09 +0000 UTCif I'm remembering right I voted mostly for jay who was my one pick, haruto and keita. there were a lot of trainees I didn't vote for bc they were doing just fine without me like shanbin, jiwoong and hao (and i didn't vote for hui bc I'm a pentagon stan and was in denial about them getting better treatment after the show lmao). my other votes rotated between jongwoo, seowon (ty to bp for getting me into nine.i!!!!), kamden, matthew and gunwook. it was SO tough though because the level of talent was crazy. without spoiling anything, I'm pretty sure every trainee that got all star and all of the final 18 have debuted in some way (and a fair amount of the others too but you get me). g group kill this love and jay's love me right high note will always be famous tbqh

2024-01-06 05:00:11 +0000 UTCMe typing as I go while I’m watching: - I hope you check out and react to the signal song (Here I am) !! - If you want to, all the trainees performance that wasn’t shown in the first and second episode can be found on YouTube if you wanna check them out. - Hwang Min Hyun (star master) was also on HYBE’s CATERER, he was a NU’EST member & WANNA ONE member (he and Baek Ho participated produce 101 s2 cause Nu’est wasn’t doing well as other groups at the time and needed a boost to get their company – PLEDIS — to give them more activities and gain fans) Also he was super popular at the time when BP was airing cause he was in a drama called “Alchemy of Souls” and everyone fell in love with him hehe (hence why during the scene when he walked in some traniees called him Seo Yul — his character from the show lol) - Also keep in mind that all the drama that happens, may be evil editing just to make it look like there’s tension but there really wasn’t or it was quickly resolved within the group. Sadly, the evil editing led to a lot of hate for trainees at the time and they couldn’t really voice it out until they were eliminated. 🫤 - Choi Seung Hoon, the trainee in the Burn It Up team (with low confidence), has been a child actor (and still is acting) so he didn’t really have experience in actually training for dance and singing which is why he had 0 confidence compare to the others. - my top 9 picks during this time was (in no particular order lol) Jay, Gyu Bin, Sung Han Bin, Ricky, Kieta, Yoo Seung Eon, Park Han Bin, Zhang Hao & Tae Rae.. but honestly cause how good all the trainees get later in the show it was constantly changing for me, it was so hard watching this show live 😭😭 literally probably the hardest show for me to watch ever cause there was THAT many talented trainees here

I think around this time my picks were Jay, Zhang Hao, Sung Hanbin, Chen Kuanjui, Matthew, Kim Jiwoong, Wumuti, Haruto, Ricky though I didn't start voting until like episode 4 or 5 because I started watching later. One thing the show didn't really mention was the fact that a lot of the guys were sick at one point or another, especially around the re-evaluation of the title song which affected a lot of the guy's performance and a bunch of them got demoted to 0 stars by default because they were sick and didn't do the re-evaluation.

Seeing all of this again with you make me so emotional, I'm attached to all of them, so it will really be hard to watch the elimination again... Can't wait for the next episode tho !!

I love how Jiwoong didn't give up on Jongwoo and took him in the back door team despite him being a one star. I was a huge Jiwoong and Jongwoo enthusiast all throughout boys planet The way I was so sad when Gunwook wasn't getting picked despite being an all star. People had such a misconception of him when he's just a cutie. You have no idea how Gunwook is so precious to me. He is so dear to my heart. He was my top1 from the first episode to the last one. I'm like a proud mom watching him. Just for that I love rewatching Boys Planet with you 😭

But stay tuned and you'll fall in love with this kid, he was my final FINAL pick when it came down to pick your last guy. In the early days, OFC Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew and Lee Hoe Taek was on my voting card, and Lee Seung Hwan, who I loved from his Signal Song fan cam. Guys like Keita, Haruto.
