2024-09-17 06:55:58 +0000 UTCI thought the handoffs on Guilty were incredible. Also the level of performance on this show is just astounding - you know they're going to sound good! So it's about vocal style and arrangement and performance choices. Everyone can sing. I agree on Drama. I think it's their choices - they could have brought in some vocal distortion or more interesting dynamics. I lost interest during the chorus specifically. My favorites pretty much the whole time, in no particular order, were Jay, Wumuti, Bain, and Hayoon. That probably tells you a lot about what I'm drawn to 😁 Bain genuinely stole my heart, honestly - he's just a beast onstage, serving 100%, every inch of his body fully in the song. I can never look away 😂 And Hayoon has a strange, raw sound and isn't afraid to sound unconventional. Of course I love that - give me your people who break the mold, always 💜 I loved Jay and Wumuti coming in. Jay is incredibly good, which I knew, but it was fun to get to see what he's like backstage too. He's always pretty willing to go with the flow, which for some reason I hadn't anticipated. And Wumuti - if I was a k-pop producer I'd definitely build a group around him. He's got such good leadership qualities. I also love him as a performer, but he absolutely shines at encouraging everyone, fostering both hard work and collaboration.

2024-09-14 06:57:03 +0000 UTCi agree with you for Waterfire’s drama performance!! its so good but at the same time it felt a little empty at times where i REALLY wanted them to go off on the vocals. either way they did great and hayoon remains number one in my heart 🫶 and i loved HunMinJayBit’s performance too but i also started off pretty biased since i already love Drowning by Woodz lol

2024-09-14 03:30:12 +0000 UTCI felt that HunMinJayBit was given low scores to add drama to the show to a certain extent because the scores didn't make sense to me. Definitely not a reflection of the performance or vocal quality. Honestly, they made a song that is very challenging for many idols to sing at capacity sound natural to them. Liked the other performances on this episode as well.
