My Hero Academia - Biokinetic - Chapter 4

"Man, kids these days are scary.”

Nezu snorted at Aizawa's comment. Kenichi had just left his office and the pair of them were still reeling from the revelations that had been dumped on them. Deciding to mess with Aizawa some, Nezu spoke up, “And just think, the pair of them will be in your class.”

Aizawa's groan was like music to Nesu's ears. Though he got serious a moment later, “We'll have to keep a close eye on the pair of them. I don't believe they'll go bad, but I'd rather keep a watch out for anything that could cause a change in their desired paths.”

He left out how much work he was going to have to put in to keep the truth about Kenichi's Quirk buried. He wasn't one hundred percent convinced that All For One was dead and wouldn't be until he saw the old villains corpse with his own eyes. At least Yagi had finally passed the torch of One For All along to the next generation. He desperately wanted to point out that Aizawa would, in fact, have three monsters in his class this year. Before meeting Kenichi he'd honestly expected Todoroki Shoto and Midoriya Izuku to be the problem children this year. Clearly, he had others to watch more closely.

-----Line Break-----

Kenichi whistled a jaunty tune to himself as he walked through the halls of U.A. toward the nurses office. As he stepped into the room, the old lady known as The Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl, looked up from her paperwork and frowned, “You don't look hurt sonny. There a reason you're here?”

Kenichi nodded and gave Recovery Girl a polite bow, “Indeed there is!” He smiled brightly as he straightened up, “I'm Yaoyorozu Kenichi and I expect I will be joining this prestigious school when next semester begins. To that end, I wanted to meet you and offer my services as a healer.”

That instantly got the old ladies attention, “You have a healing Quirk?”

Kenichi made a so-so gesture with his hand, “It's not specifically geared toward healing, more of a side effect I suppose.”

Recovery Girl gave him a stern look, “Explain properly, I'm not getting any younger.”

Kenichi chuckled and nodded, “Right, sorry. In essence, I can't heal people, not really. My Quirk lets me manipulate my body to a ridiculous degree. For example...”

He lifted both of his hands so she could see them clearly. His left index finger's tip quickly sprouted a razor sharp blade. He winced slightly as he sliced open the palm of his right hand. He could numb himself but it was still disconcerting to deliberately slice his hand open. Recovery Girl quickly hopped to her feet seeing the blood pooling on the palm of his hand. Kenichi gestured for her to hold back a moment as his hand almost instantly healed the damage he'd done.

“So you can regenerate yourself to an impressive degree but I don't see...”

She trailed off as the pool of blood shrank in on itself and was changed from the original red liquid into an extra index finger that sprouted right out of the middle of Kenichi's palm. It even curled a few times to give her a finger wave before seeming to melt back into his hand. Once she looked away from his hand, Kenichi explained, “With a touch I can copy someone's genetic structure perfectly. From there I can use my own bodies resources to create replacement 'parts' for the patient. Even if it's just skin or blood cells, and then 'install' the replacement parts into their body.” His grin grew as he saw the shock on Recovery Girls face, “I can heal injuries, make replacement organs, even regrow lost limbs, all with perfectly matching genetics to prevent rejection. And, as I said, it uses my bodies resources, meaning I can even heal people near death.”

Kenichi had explained as much of his Quirk as he wanted to Nezu and Aizawa before coming here to offer Recovery Girl a hand. Explaining his Quirk to Nezu was a must. The principal had a scary intellect and would have figured out much, if not all, of his Quirk just from observation. Then would have grown suspicious of Kenichi if he had kept quiet and just done his thing. Kenichi had no plans to be a villain, so not worth the effort and annoyances. So it would have been counter productive to have Nezu watching him as if he would join the dark side at any moment.

Now he was explaining his ability to heal, specifically organ replacement, to Recovery Girl for one super important reason.

All Might.

He could heal All Might back to perfect health. While All Might had passed on One For All to Midoriya, it didn't make him useless. Even if he wouldn't be the same powerhouse he'd been before, All Might fully healed would still be something to watch out for. It was also another hero ready and able to fight against the coming darkness. Not to mention, it could quite possibly get rid of his current time limit and would make the fallout from his retirement less damaging. It hadn't been horrible before, but it sure as hell wasn't good when All Might deflated after knocking off All For One's block.

Could Kenichi horde his abilities to himself? Sure, he could. Why would he want to though? Even with him attempting to change things, they could still go pretty terrible. A butterfly flaps its wings and all that crap. So, his best bet to not only get through everything alive, but to protect those people inportant to himself, was to make sure everyone was as powerful and prepared as they could be. Healing All Might would be a hell of a good thing to do.

Then there was the stuff he could do to improve his classmates. Just imagine if he gave Midoriya regenerative power. All the goddamn damage that idiot does to himself, healed rapidly. Midoriya shatters the bones in his hands to the point that they can't heal properly? Cut off his goddamn hands and watch as he grows new ones! Kirishima has issues with stamina? Give him the ability to eat massive amounts of food like Momo and himself so he can pig out and have extra stores when needed!

Ashido can't handle her own strongest acid? Enhance her acid resistance traits! Tokoyami has issues with Dark Shadow going out of control in pitch black darkness? Give the guy the ability to fluoresce so he can produce his own light to reign in Dark Shadow until he learns control! Those were just a few of the ideas he had to improve his classmates and make them more powerful for the coming conflicts.

That only took into account buffs for their Quirks. He could do so much more than that for them! He could amplify their sense to extreme degrees, increase their base strength, enhance how fast they recover, and more.

There was just one downside to all of it. Time. The more changes he made to their genetics, or the bigger the change, the longer it would take for them to fully integrate. Over the last ten months he'd given Momo some modifications and had some data on how long it would take for one to fully integrate. The answer was a long time. His first priority had been to enhance Momo's healing ability giving her a healing factor. That took four months and he felt it wasn't safe to try to make any more changes while that was happening. His next modification was to her durability, he gave her the same Abalone enhanced hide that he had for himself. That took another three months. With a good defensive ability, he was less worries about her and had given her a treatment to enhance her muscles and make her much stronger. That treatment was still ongoing. He'd only been able to give her three treatments in almost a year and one still hadn't finished. It could be seen how long it would take to improve his classmates and how careful he would have to be when making his decisions.

Of course, they would have a say in how they were modified, it was their body after all.

All of this was a long winded way of saying that he planned to do everything in his power to not only make himself stronger, but everyone around him that he could.

Recovery Girl took a deep breath and studied the young man before her before she finally spoke up, “That's pretty impressive kid. I'll talk to the Principal about having you set up for emergency calls and after school lessons on proper medicine. I can't make you into a proper doctor but I can make you into the best possible field medic.”

Kenichi nodded with a smile, “It would be my pleasure.”

They discussed a few details before Kenichi's phone set off a notification alert. After a quick check, he bid goodbye to Recovery Girl and left the main campus. His ride was clearly visible sitting in front of the main gates. Not many, if any, other students that day had a personal limo that would drop them off and pick them up.

As he approached, the driver opened the back door and closed it once Kenichi was inside. Waiting for him with an impatient expression on her face was Momo. Kenichi grinned as they exchanged a quick hug in greeting. Neither of them had had many friends growing up, no friends really, so they were exceptionally close to each other.

Once their quick embrace ended, Momo impatiently asked, “Well?”

Kenichi laughed and nodded, “I'm sure I got in.”

Momo's squeal of delight and subsequent bone crushing hug of excitement lifted Kenichi's already high spirits even higher. When she let go of him she demanded, “Tell me everything!”

So, he did. He told Momo every moment of his day but paid special attention to the practical exam. The written exams for the recommended students would have been the same as the regular exam students. That meant only the practical was different. The recommended students also had to go through a personal interview with Nezu. Something Kenichi now had in common with them. He didn't leave out his discussions with Nezu or Recovery Girl. Aside from his memories of a past life, he had no secrets from Momo and he never would.

Their talk lasted until they arrived at the local manor house that their parents had bought them. He called it a manor but anyone else would likely call it a mansion. In his last life he would have definitely considered it a mansion. However, compared to the main Yaoyorozu home, it really was a small manor house.

As they entered the parlor, he turned to Momo, “I'm going to get cleaned up.”

While he'd wiped himself down after the practical exam, he wasn't perfectly clean. Destroying robots was dirty work and he had various spots of grease and other fluids splattered on his body when ripping them apart. Momo tilted her head for a moment before deciding to say, “I'll join you.”

Kenichi just shrugged and made his way toward the master bathroom. While each bedroom had it's own en suite bathroom, their was a massive one in the center of the manor that was the 'family' bath. This was a part of Japanese culture that had bothered him a tiny bit after he'd gotten his memories of his last life, the family bath. Unlike in most cultures, the family bathing together even in teenage and adult years wasn't considered to be a taboo of some sort. Instead, it was a good way to maintain close ties of kinship. So, he'd gotten used to the occasional family bath with everyone.

Some might have still considered two fifteen year old teenagers bathing together to be bad in some way. For them it was just a bit of family skin ship and had no sexual connotations to it at all. They'd seen each other naked for their entire lives, it was nothing new, wasn't 'forbidden fruit' or anything scandalous. It was just a bath.

They two of them stripped in the antechamber before grabbing some towels and heading into the main bathing area. There were several showers for cleaning off and one massive tub that always had clean hot water within it. As they used the showers to clean off, Kenichi asked, “It's been a few days since I last checked, but how is your strength progressing?”

“I bench pressed two hundred and fifty kilos yesterday, so pretty well.”

Kenichi whistled while he poured some shampoo onto his hand, “Not bad. It will skyrocket once the conversion process is complete. Still, that's like Pre-Quirk era record weight lifting there.”

Once his hands were lightly lathered, he turned around and sat behind Momo where he began to work the shampoo into her hair. She wore it rather long so taking care of it on her own was a pain in the ass. He didn't mind helping her out on the occasions where they did things like this, “How about your rapid response items?”

“I've got another one practiced to perfection.”

The rapid response items were a list of things for Momo to perfectly memorize and practice creating until she could do it instantly with just a thought. In the original timeline something like the Bo Staff she liked to create and use to fight would have been considered a rapid response item. He'd helped her come up with a list of items and bribed her into getting them all down. Ever since he'd gotten his memories, he'd helped Momo expand her understanding of her Quirk. That's not to say she was terrible with it, but she lacked imagination!

Seriously, she could use her Quirk to make THEORETICAL elements! Not that he really understood what the potential of that was or what those elements could be used for. Still, if she made blocks of them she could get credit for their creation. As far as he could remember, the only way to make them was with the Large Hadron Collider and even then they only lasted microseconds... Or something like that. He'd never paid all that much attention to those things.

However! Things like Flash-bangs? Those were worth knowing like the back of her hand! There were plenty of situations where popping out a flash-bang could come in handy. Another item was a gas mask. Not a commonly needed item but definitely one that you want to have on those occasions where you do need it! That was really just the tip of the iceburg. They'd even had their parents spend a fair amount of money for licensing so Momo could create legally protected items for personal use. She had legal permission from multiple Hero Support Item companies to make their products with her Quirk, so long as those products retained their branding.

Knowing that she'd mastered another item to the point where she could instantly bring it out with barely a thought made him happy, “I'm glad to hear it. How about your costume design? Did my suggestions help?”

That was always something that bugged him about Momo's original costume. Oh, he very much liked it when she wasn't his sister, it was rather fetching on her and excellent fan-service material. However, as her brother the design bugged the hell out of him. So, after she designed the original concept, he'd made several suggestions that kept plenty of skin exposure without being nearly as close to 'indecent' as the leotard one had been.

Momo blushed a little at his question but nodded while his fingers worked her scalp, “Yes, the redesign is finished.”

“The computer too?”

Momo sighed, whether from the scalp massage or the question, he wasn't sure. Originally Momo had planned to have a book containing notes and quick references to things she hadn't perfectly memorized just yet. However, Kenichi had pointed out how stupid having an actual physical book was. She would now have a reinforced wrist computer with voice recognition and a holographic display.

“Yes, the computer too.” She looked down and squirmed a little in embarrassment, “Thank you for helping me with my costume.”

Kenichi just shrugged the comment off, “I did it out of personal greed. The last thing I want is my sister being exposed to perverts!”

Speaking of perverts, if Mineta Minoru was still in class 1-A with his sister, he'd be making sure that little bastard was expelled rather quickly. It'd be pretty easy to get done too. A school like U.A. would not want anything to do with a student being prosecuted for sexual harassment. Which is exactly what would happen to the short shit if he so much as looked at Momo wrong. He hated Mineta in the show. He hated him to the point of wishing the character would be the first one to die a horrible death. Every time the little shit lived was a disappointment. Even his costume showed how disgusting the little bastard was, a DIAPER?! Really?!

It wasn't like he just hated perverted characters either. After all, he didn't wish a horribly painful death on Kaminari Denki. Kamianri was a pervert too but at least he was a lot more low key about it and knew where the lines were. Mineta just didn't and brought NOTHING to the table. Every scene Mineta appeared in was just painful. His hatred of the little purple bastard was part of why he took the opportunity to improve Shinso Hitoshi's odds of passing the practical the moment he'd spotted him.

-----Line Break -----

After their bath, they twins went about their business as usual. School was out for the summer and it would be at least a week, maybe two, before they got Kenichi's results. So, as planned, the family got together and left Japan on their networking vacation. Kenichi's parents wanted to network with foreign heroes and Kenichi just wanted to shake their hands. Not to mention all the zoo visits they had planned with personal meet and greets with the most exotic animals they contained. Yes, Kenichi was very much looking forward to his time abroad.

AN

For those curious, NO Momo is not, and never will be, a potential love interest. Honestly, I have no idea who will catch Kenichi's attention. I've got a general plan for the story but the details are just coming out as I write. This means who Kenichi pursues will just come out as I write and wont be something premeditated.

And yes, I HATE the character of Mineta Minoru. I'm not alone in that. There's a line between a funny perverted character (Like Issei Hyuodou) and a sexual assaulter like Mineta. And yes, he HAS sexually assaulted his female classmates on more than one occasion.

Also, for the record, I hate Bakugo as well. My reasoning why will be explained in the story a bit later.

Always happy when people enjoy my work.

The difference between Mineta and Issei is pretty simple. Setting. Issei is the protagonist of an ecchi series whose whole point is action and boobs. That makes what he does more forgivable, all things considered. Mineta, alternatively, is a side character in a somewhat more serious and 'realistic' (for a given value of realism) series who constantly commits criminal acts while at a school for learning to be a hero. And that's the HUGE key difference. Mineta is, ostensibly, supposed to become a HERO. Heroes are supposed to be held to a higher standard. Could you imagine an established hero like Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America, or any of the others trying to peep through a hole in the wall to see girls changing clothes? Hell no. And that's why Mineta is hated. He's not a hero, he's not truly trying to be one either. His whole motivation is, in his own words, women.

Thanks for the chapter, just signed up, love your works!

Issei's done some pretty bad things though... peeping on girls, dress break, etc.. I like Issei and dislike Mineta as well but I can tell their similar, and Issei is arguably worse in some regards
