Kam was in contact w Jay and Faysal during their season, and wanted to work w them, Leroy was like cool "bc my girl already knew them". She also talked about getting close w Natalie/Lolo/Aneesa etc. She implied a potential people of color arrangement it was a lot of info

In theory, he should have got someone closer to BB's alliance like Lolo as a partner. Nam ain't doing shit but staying loyal to rookies. It makes sense now why Amber B chose Darrell...but if Cory had a pregame deal with them, I wonder why Faysal is the one everyone allows to run the show. I guess they view him as their shield. I wish this show had Live Feeds man lol

2021-01-03 18:32:18 +0000 UTCYep. Kayleigh was essential to that alliance controlling both sides. Thats why Georgia hated her so much. They called Cara's alliance a Cult in the edit. So disrespectful. Instead of telling the real story, they tell their butt hurt version of not getting their way etc... Idk if you noticed this...but Kam showed her strategic side during that season as well when she had that fake fight in front of everyone but she was secretly plotting with Kyle. I think that was why Kyle picked her as his partner after knocking out Joseph in 36. They are a good team together. And yeah that finale was all about trying to guarantee Jordan & Tori won together....and I'd argue them not winning together is why they broke up. After 35, she knew Jordan was no longer an Apex predator. If you get the chance, check out my 34 rants as well (if you haven't yet). 2021-01-03 18:23:57 +0000 UTCNo the other one, Kyle - to be fair he's actually ok bc he plays his trope well as the Trickster and he owns it. So he would be worse if he wasn't self aware. I know you and ev have I'm sure touched on all this, I'm just new to this Challenge world period. I'm glad to see a strong black couple in Leroy & Kam, they got done dirty in WWII for supporting Paulie and not joining the Jordan/Tori coronation. The thing that's weird about this show (and prob true for most others) is that so much of the same players come back over and over, and there's a clear hierarchy, so there's like 3 games being played and it's fascinating. Game 1 - surface level presented game, 2 - pregaming and outside relationships, 3 - productions intended story for that season. I feel like (I could be wrong): A) production may have punished Wes' pregaming by exposing ev to Laurel, then reinforcing that info w Kyle (both their rationales for how they knew had holes) B) Cara saw the writing on the wall w The Proposal (prob before then bc she went against π), hence her comments about the whole thing being fishy. She got obliterated the entire finale C) "Cara's alliance" was also secured by something I had no clue about and was never mentioned in the show: Kam and Kayleighs previous partnership in another season bc Kayleigh had Joss + Rogan + Dee. It was never acknowledged. Kam was just portrayed as a blind follower, and Kayleigh was portrayed as some random Brit chick there was no reference to her playing before or doing anything substantial. D) That finale challenge was fucked up. Anyone w common sense could see how obviously messy that was in terms of sabotage.

I found the whole season (and others) somewhere else on the Web π lol

Production was desperate to screw them over Paulie & Cara with Leroy & Kam but now they "love" Leroy & Kam cuz of BLM. Most people can't find that season anywhere but on CBS all access so I salute you for finding episodes if you didn't use that app.
