The more I’ve thought about it, I think the house’s strategy was flawed. If the concern was champions making it to the end, maybe a better strategy was not to put them in elimination. I don’t even understand Aneesa’s concern wirh Wes. He hasn’t won a Challenge season since Rivals II (2013). Going after strong pairs guarantees that one of them will get a skull which would hurt them from winning the Final because they’ll have to deal with stronger players. A better strategy is to put quote on quote “layups” in elimination, so they would have an easier road. This is hindsight but if Aneesa & Faysal could do it again, they probably would’ve campaigned for a weak rookie pair to go down first , and they could’ve took a shot and got a skull right away. Because Aneesa/Faysal were the first Double Agents, they were at a disadvantage of not employing that strategy. I expect the other veterans to employ that strategy. I bet the producers were banking on the vets to figure out that strategy first and go after the rookies and pushed the panic button when their apex pet, CT, was in danger.

2020-12-16 20:38:19 +0000 UTCI think how it works is when somebody doesn’t have a partner, they’re ineligible to get voted in until somebody loses a partner because more than likely most of the daily challenges are partner challenges. Then those two people get together and are eligible to get voted in again.
