The Part 2 update is getting close, with the Bruiser Ghost, spell, and level design done, and Looker Eye and quest remaining before I start internal testing in preparation of a test build release again
The estimates in each section are guesstimates, and the work may take less or more time. We're currently 4 weeks in.
✅ Level design (1-2 weeks)
✅ Finger Beam spell (3-5 days)
✅ Bruiser Ghost entity (2-3 weeks)
🟦 Looker Eye boss (2-3 weeks)
It's got 4 unique moves functionally implemented, and 2 more experimental work-in-progress ones - after they're all functionally done I've got sound effects left. I'm aiming to give this boss two states: a normal boss fight, and a chase/escape scene - I've started blocking out the chase level design part of his 'arena' but it's early stage work. The animation is almost done, just some touch-ups left - if I have the time I might extend it a bit too, but we'll see :)
I've also added a new shopkeeper NPC that's unique to big boss arenas - she sells potions at a discount so you can go in prepared

🟦 Quests (2-3 days)
I've implemented the Ghost Hunt quest for the Bruiser Ghost above, and the Looker Boss quest is still waiting for the boss challenge to be fully done
⬜ Testing/bugfixing (1-2 weeks)
Will start when the above is done.

Otherwise I've been working on this stuff:
New Blessings: some that make it possible to quickly get back into animations again, some to modify old primary Blessings. They're all experimental and some will need new UI/VFX work but hopefully I can include one or two of these in the next build
Added more missing sound effects - it's not done yet, but it's progressing
Continued improving some old animations
Improved the night sky visuals in the dark region
Added a large health potion, which means you can hold 3 small + 1 large health potion
I still have to get to doing the small trailer before I can do a public demo release, but I'm hoping I'll have time for this soon.

That's it for this update. Unless I finish the next build before then, I'll be back in 2 weeks as usual - see you then!
