2024-04-20 06:51:39 +0000 UTCYou're so perceptive and catch on to things so quick, like how you realize that Aang's fighting style is mostly defensive/avoidance which has a lot to do with being a pacifist raised by monks. And you have so many insightful questions...I really enjoy your reactions Sofie. I think you'll really love this show and see how meaningful it is and why fans love it after almost 20 years. Personally, I love the whole "chosen one" character journey of this show, very similar to that kind of story with Buffy. Both shows have that young person who is destined to be a hero but they're not ready or don't want to be that hero, and they take time to learn to accept their fate or take charge of it.
