Love the video as always and thanks for watching this and appreciating Xiaojun's incredible vocals!! It was also interesting noticing many of the little changes the show's gone through since this episode. It might be on my end but I don't think so as I've noticed it in a couple of your videos recently, but there seems to be some sort of issue with the sound of the first half of the actual video where the instrumentals often peak over the vocals in a way that differs from the original video and can make it somewhat difficult to fully hear Xiaojun's voice at points. I just thought I'd point this out to you in case you weren't aware but it's of no real problem.

Xiaojun's vocal tone is so stunning and his dynamics and control are really impressive, but above all his ability is express emotions is just incredible. The first time I saw this Ashes performance I had to just stop and take a sec, and again with End of a Day, both performances are so moving. Fun fact: in an extra clip from the show, Lee Mujin offered Xiaojun one of his own songs bc he really liked his voice. XIaojun is now WayV's resident extrovert making friends with literally everyone haha.

This Lee Mujin service remains one of my favourites (maybe my no.1 in fact) even all this time later- Xiajun's voice is an actual masterpiece and it's a blessing everytime we get to hear him sing solo (I say this with full love to WayV too haha). (And yes he's gorgeous, we've recently had a few people in the industry say that they've met a lot of idols / celebs but that he's actually the best looking person they've ever met, which I can believe).

2025-06-18 20:00:39 +0000 UTCLove this one. The chord progression and Xiaojun voice in Ashes always give me goosebumps. And the contrast with Lee Mujin voice works so well on TOL. I also think the first LMJ episodes were rawer which upped the authenticity feel.
