Running Man – Episode 12

The day starts with what’s supposed to be a birthday celebration for Song Joong Ki – but, true to Running Man style, the ‘surprise’ isn’t quite what he was expecting. Meanwhile, Gary finds himself caught between loyalty and the rules of the game when he makes a choice involving Ji Hyo.
Haha, as always, brings his energy – but his job as a guard doesn’t exactly go to plan, leading to more than a few frantic scrambles. The episode finishes with an especially close call, keeping everyone guessing until the very last moment.
Full of heart, hilarity, and quick thinking, it’s another brilliant entry in the early Running Man catalogue.

I get to begin my weekend feeling a little nostalgic everytime esp with this being the first season and we're seeing how the members, little by little, get to their 'characters' that are loved by viewers/fans dearly. I remember how Kwang Soo started getting more airtime with his ridiculous rumors about Jihyo (cursing, aggressive, etc) and Jongkook (very soft offcam). Plus he showed how he can be quick witted and funny with that "pygmalion effect". Meanwhile, Jihyo starting to feel very comfortable and becomes more and more competitive and clever (can be cunning like in this ep with Gary).

2025-06-21 03:42:25 +0000 UTCBeen watching Running Man since 10 years ago and i do miss the original cast esp Gary 🥲 i also miss the 'action-packed' nametag tearing but i guess since the cast have had injuries before because if this, they've thought of other games now (also cause JK has an advantage with it i guess? 😅)
