Noooelle the Cowknight

Merry Christmas, everyone, and a wonderful day to you all!

Let me introduce you to Noooelle, the pillar of Mondstadt. She protects and serves everyone, and recently, she has even started providing the citizens with something delicious to eat and drink. She truly gives her all in her duty.

Features

First of all, we have 50 toggles for you to customize her. These are distributed across her vanilla outfit, cow-themed features and clothing, as well as bondage elements, hair, eye, body, and skin variations.

Everything can be neatly toggled using the in-game menu, which now includes a new function: you can navigate it even in controller mode! Most actions can be performed with the controller itself, except for navigating the menu… yeah, that’s a bit of a bummer. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about that since the only supported input buttons are the D-pad, which is already used for switching characters. But don’t worry! You can still use WASD and the arrow keys even in controller mode, so you won’t need to switch back and forth just to toggle something.

As mentioned earlier, I’ve tried to include some playful elements in the toggles. For instance, certain features can't be added or removed if access to the area is blocked. For less intuitive interactions, I’ve added a special icon to give you a heads-up. However, for more common cases, like equipping arm armor while arm sleeves are already on, no extra indicators are provided. I’m curious about your thoughts: does this system feel more like a hassle, or does it make experimenting with the toggles more enjoyable?

Requirements

Technically, this mod requires TexFx, but as I’ve mentioned before, please consider switching to the XXMI Launcher. It automatically installs and updates all required components. Moving forward, I won’t list individual requirements unless they aren’t included in the XXMI Launcher.

That’s all for now! Please have fun exploring the toggles, experimenting with the different options, and discovering the repercussions they imply. As always, if you encounter any problems, feel free to use the chat or message me directly, and I’ll see if I can fix it.

I’ll make another post this weekend to share what’s coming next. Because of the holidays, I won’t be fully available until the new year, but I’ll still respond to text messages.

Happy holidays, and enjoy!

Update 1.1
Added an option to use the D-Pad to navigate through the menu. You can do so in the outfit selection screen. There are no default bindings for it, so you can toggle everything without any issues. Thanks to Sunburnt for finding this location.

Hi, it may not be the resolution. Sometimes the UI elements won't show up for some reason, until you switch the display type fullscreen/borderless/window. But it should stay when you switch back.

found out what was wrong, the resolution my monitor was using was making the resolution VERY janky, it literally was not showing up, i slapped a very high resolution on full screen and now i can see it

hi, i tried to use the menu and it doesn't show up at all, i know this is doing something because when i press U i can change the toggles, but i can't see the menu itself

What a weird location :D. But I can confirm that it works. For anyone who wants this, I’ve updated the files, so you can simply download version 1.1 and use the D-Pad. A huge thanks to you, Sunburnt, for discovering this!

For any others who use controller and don't want to get off the couch - I tried adding the DPad inputs myself and found I can use it without issue from the outfit select screen, where the dpad is not used for anything, and you can move and zoom the camera as desired to see what you've changed :) To make the change, just go to SelectionMenu.Ini and underneath the four arrowkey input lines, e.g.: key = VK_RIGHT add a line underneath for DPad input as well, e.g.: key = XB_DPAD_RIGHT

That pic with the combo of the breastplate and a short skirt, love that
