"... That's all for our — Chaldea's situation. Toshino is currently conducting field research as the acting Master. And just to confirm, are you the sole survivor of the Servants that fought in this city's Holy Grail War?"

Dr. Roman asked as Caster snorted.

"I didn't lose, at least yet. But our Holy Grail War was suddenly changed and became totally different. I don't know the details about it, one night the city was suddenly engulfed into flames. All the humans disappeared, and all that remained were Servants."

He then frowned at his memories before sighing.

"First, restarting the Holy Grail War is that Saber's doing. She's getting more violent every day like a restless tiger in a field of prey.

In just a few hours, Saber defeated Archer, Lancer, Rider, Assassin, and Berserker by herself."

"Holy shit, herself?"

Toshino muttered with disbelief, which reflected to all Chaldea members present.

"Survival amongst the seven Servants… that’s the rule of this city’s Holy Grail War. But total domination by just one Servant?"

The Director bit her lip in thought as Mash breathed out shakily.

"And of those, only Caster won… no, was the only Servant to stay alive."

Caster didn't get offended by that. Instead, he held his head up high in pride.

"Hell, yeah. Also, the Servants that Saber defeated are mired in that black mist, as you’ve already seen. They’re monsters, appearing like maggots, but they’ve started searching for something. So, while it is a pain in the ass, I’ve started searching myself. Until I can get that done, the Holy Grail War won’t end."

They heard a finger snap somewhere near them. The source was from the holographic screen floating on Toshino's watch thingy.

"I see, the only remaining Servants are Saber and you! So if you defeat Saber — "

"Exactly, this city’s Holy Grail War will end, I suppose. Although I’m not sure if this situation will ever go back to how it was."

They all looked around them, watching the ferocious fires that had interval bursts of energy as the Director suddenly yelled out.

"Wait a minute, is that it? You came to rescue us, but in the end it benefits you! You want to beat Saber. But you can’t find a way to win by yourself so you want us to help…am I wrong?!"

While Caster reiterated the fact that Saber destroyed 5 Servants on her own in a matter of hours, Toshino looked at Sasaki, who understood what his Master was thinking.

"No worries, Master. I can clearly see that this Saber is clearly far beyond my level and parameters. The more Servants we have will equate to more firepower and higher likelihood that we will defeat this Saber. I will not get prideful for such a simple matter."

Toshino just gave him a weak grin.

"Alright, just wanted to make sure."

Toshino looked at Caster.

"Caster, will you help us with this?"

"W-Wait! Hey, I'm the Director here, and I make the decisions — !"

"— Well, since the Master has spoken, a formal introduction then, now that we're temporary allies. Servant Class, Caster. I prefer using a spear myself, but I'll make due with my Magecraft. At any rate..."

"GuOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Suddenly, loud low moans sounded near them, causing the Director to shriek in fear. Caster clicks his tongue as all the Servants got into their battle stances.

"Damn creatures, there's no end to these guys."

"Mash, draw their attention but try and not get damaged. Caster, blast them from afar with AOE spells. Assassin, hit-and-run, use your speed while they aggro-ed.

Titans, GO!"

The Servants along with the Director just froze and stared at Toshino when he yelled out his last sentence with a lot of passion. He just blinks as he sheepishly chuckled, his Magic Circuits brimming with life.

"What? I've always wanted to say that."

"U-Ugggh..."

Toshino groaned as he sluggishly slumped to the ground, his Od already running low due to the constant fighting that they've got into for 2 hours straight.

"Haaa... Haaa... Things have finally settled down at last... We can't have a decent conversation like this."

Mash noted as she panted, clinging onto her shield for support while Toshino almost threw up from the overexertion on his Magic Circuits.

"My bad, I take a lot of Od since my spells are Druid based, just a level below magic from the Age of Gods. If I had been summoned as a Lancer, I'd have been able to finish small fries like Sabers with a pierce, however, without much drain on your Od, Master."

Toshino simply gave him a thumbs up before throwing up on the ground, causing the Director to shriek like a banshee (Due to his puke barely missing her shoe) and started berating the Master, as Caster slung his staff around his shoulders.

"Still, Caster really isn't for me. I'm helpless as a Caster in Fuyuki's Holy Grail War, I tell ya!"

"I think that your Magecraft was quite powerful, Caster. It suits your aggressive fighting style rather effectively."

Sasaki gave his piece, to which Caster gave the samurai a roguish grin.

"Thanks! Your swordsmanship is good too, efficient and quick! I don't understand how you're not even a Saber with the skills that you have."

After a few minutes to wind down, Caster grouped them up together.

"Right, now that we're all rested up, it's time for a game plan. The next thing to do is to check the objectives. What you people are searching for is without a doubt, the Greater Grail."

"Greater Grail...? I've never heard of it before, what is that?" (Dr. Roman)

"It's the true heart of this land. If there's an irregularity, it can't be anywhere but there. But well, the bastard, Saber, is guarding the Greater Grail. Along with what's remaining of the blackened servants."

Caster scratches his chin as the Director spoke up.

"By process of elimination, the ones remaining after you and Saber are Berserker and Archer. How are they, in terms of strength. Are they strong?"

"Well... that blasted Archer should be fine with me around, but the main issue is Berserker.

That thing is a monster, even in Servant standards. Heck, even Saber took 3 hours just to beat him to a pulp, and he was still standing after withstanding all that damage."

"What?!" (Director)

"Hahaha, we're so dead!" (Toshino)

"S-Senpai! Don't faint here!" (Mash)

"W-Well, I understand the situation now. We will then aim for the Greater Grail with Mr. Caster. Can we trust you with the way?"

Dr. Roman asked as Caster tossed his wooden staff into the air and grabs it midair.

"Don't bother with 'Mr'. I'll show you the path. When and how we go in will be up to the kiddo's decision."

The two then looked at the scene in front of them, an unconscious Toshino on the ground with foam in his mouth, Mash trying to wake her Senpai up by slapping his face, the Director laying on the ground laughing miserably and hysterically, and Sasaki just chuckling at the weird scene in front of them.

And they were the ones who were going to save this Singularity?

"... Well, after the kiddo wakes up, then."

"Agreed."
