Yes, sorry, Patroncast is slightly late again - mainly as Survival Mode launched earlier than I expected which has kept me very busy indeed.
Anyway, all the usual stuff now - I've got a topic I want to chat over, and then I'm turning things over to questions/comments/suggestions and all that good stuff from you, so ask/suggest/comment away and the next Patroncast wil be coming soon :)

I can tell among occasional guests in your videos Matt has a stereotypical northern England accent (from his use of F-word), but I just couldn't tell what kind of English you are speaking in terms of accent. It sounds RP. After following all of your videos for a while I couldn't help but noticed I'll throw out your jargons at times (e.g. flipping). Thank you a lot for that since I really want to avoid using F-word by all means and "flipping" is a nice candidate for that sort of context. Keep the good work Jon!

On a slightly more serious note, I've heard you say before that you enjoyed your fanbase and the discussions it often brings to the comment sections, do you think (Even apart from it being your channel subscribers), that the MATN fan base is more 'mature', ( or rather perhaps, less immature) that other channels, or do you think that your analytic style of video is partially responsible, and thus you continue to make such videos, not only because they are your nature, but because the fanbase they attract you sincerely enjoy interacting with?

It would be an easy way to get the community closer and you could play along with no schedule whatsoever. It could also be Patreon-only, so it would be more attractive to become one! However, are you willing to concede that a new survival difficulty YOLO run is impossible, given that you played Fallout NV on Hardcore no healing.

2016-04-03 02:35:53 +0000 UTCHi Jon, given the massive reduction in carry capacity in the new survival mode will you begin picking up Burnt Magazine's & Comic's as well as Folders, each of these items weigh 0 and have a value of 1 essentially replacing the pre-war money from Fallout 3 & NV(obviously now pre-war money has a cloth mat and therefore may be of more use as that). Hubris Comics has about 50 caps worth lying around on the shelves and floor.

Maybe for the anniversary of the channel, I very much enjoyed your tutorial on that cooking game, I wonder if the devs have worked out all the bugs by now? Are you going to do any challenge playthroughs on Fallout 4's new Survival? YOLO seems...insane but No Perks or something like that would be an interesting one(SPECIALS permitted). Maybe you could make a poll for some suggestions. One ammo type would also be a tough one, .38 for versatility and abundance or .44 for sheer stopping power... Most anticipated game of the year? Sorry if you have mentioned it previously. Are there any games you wish to play with fans this year? It would be really cool, depending on whether or not you're interested in the game of course, if No Man's Sky had some social features and we could all claim a MATN galaxy...oh yes. Depends on how the game is though. Are you interested in Japanese anime/manga at all? Such as the many beautiful Studio Ghibli movies and other great series. You've played a couple of anime style visual novels so I was just wondering. Panzermadels is GOTY indefinitely, I suspect only the sequel could topple that glorious beast of a game.
