The modding scene for HSR is about to begin. There has been enough advances as to make it possible to the same level as genshin is at. There will be bugs for a bit but it wont take long before those are ironed out.
HOWEVER
we dont know if it's bannable to use mods in your game as of now. Honkai Impact does their ban waves at the end of an update so it's safe to assume HSR will do the same or similar. Hence waiting till after the end of the update and some is the safest if you value your current account.
If you are like me and don't mind if you get banned all of the sudden, then ignore the warnings and yolo it.
