Merry Christmas, Everyone!

It occurred to me just now, quite suddenly and with no small amount of incredulity, that I’ve somehow written over 100,000 words since the last time I checked in here. I don’t know how I managed it, and I’m fairly certain I didn’t actually manage it, but the words exist now, and there’s no one left to blame.

The backlog for TSA? Half-finished, naturally, because actually finishing things is for people with fewer distractions and no fascination for half-finished things. But we’re back on TGW, which I promise you is a beacon of focus—at least until tomorrow if I manage to stop being distracted by the shiny baubles everyone insists on shoving in my face this holiday season. Baubles are my Achilles’ heel. If that happens, you’ll see it the day after.

There’s also this Arcane fic, which I wasn’t going to write, but then I did, or at least sampled, and now people seem to want more. Who am I to deny them—or myself, really? If all goes well, advance chapters might start showing up early next year.

And finally, before I forget or get distracted again: happy holidays, you glorious bunch of enablers. Here’s to next year being better than this one, which it almost certainly won’t be, but we’ll hold out hope all the same.
