My favorite track is No.2 because I truly love Namjoon voice which blends well with Park Jiyoonβs voice! And of course, the lyrics and the melody are just so beautiful π

Listening to the album from 1 to 10, I really feel he mastered his intension in telling us the stories of his life in his 20s. It's so perfect!! I wish him all the best going into his 30s πππ

2022-12-04 20:52:17 +0000 UTCLOVED LOVED LOOOVED Change pt2, is the kind of experimental/chaotic music I usually listen to.. As a big fan of hyperpop it's totally in my wheelhouse. And guys.. A good chunk of these songs do deal with heartbreak, even if lines can be interpreted in different ways and that's definitely Joon's intent when writing! Within the context of having closer, change, and lonely back to back the breakup theme is pretty evident. I think interpreting songs like these exclusively as always "for army" or "for their past self" does a disservice to the boys' writing and honesty. Let these mid 20s and 30 year old men live their lives like anyone else, please! π π

Then I looked up the lyrics and read them as I listened to the songs again. I will say that at first I was confused about the sounds in "Change pt. 2" but after a couple listens I'm enjoying it. I've found that BTS has opened me up to listen to a lot more genras then what I used to listen to before I knew them. BTS has made me more open minded in general. At this point, my top three favs are Wildflower (pretty emotional to me), Forg_tful, and closer. Can't wait for you guys to read the lyrics. Would you consider maybe watching the magazine film and looking up the lyrics for each song after hearing RM break down the reason and meaning behind each song? I I really enjoyed his album magazine film.

2022-12-04 02:52:32 +0000 UTCHaving the certainty that every song is special, brilliant, and an important piece of this work of art by RM, for this moment ( and forever honestly) Wildflower has won my heart... and I need a few good days to recover... I mean, I don't know how many times I listened to it in these two days, but I can't help crying my eyes out because of the vulnerability in RMs lyrics and the symbolism in the video. And not wanting to offend other BTS fans, but in my opinion only ARMY can feel and understand what this song represents, simply cause we love and "know" them a little more.This is what art should be, this is what an artist should be able to convey..I listen to a lot of music from artists I admire, who have substance and sincerity in their lyrics, but nothing has reached this level of feeling for me that RM manages to do only through this one song. I'm sure that this second chapter will bring us an even more vulnerable and sincere BTS than we know... and for that we have one big reason to feel excited and grateful. My heart is full. Also familia, I'm sure you will do it anyway, but I would recommend you to watch the reaction of other reactors, ARMY of course, to be able to discover and experience to the maximum all that this song brings with it. Happy to see you enjoying the music and vibing with it !π

My favorites are Yun and No.2

She's a respected singer and actress who was on the first BTS show, I believe. She was quite sweet and friendly with them despite her senior status, and for that I was very grateful for her at that time, because the hosts were a little too much to them. And later JK and Jimin did a cover of her song for Jk's birthday "Coming of Age Ceremony." Oh, and the show was called The Beatles Code 3D (Ep. 15) 2014

Some songs are on my playlist forever now. π Every song is special, - yun, change 2 and hectic a little bit not my taste musically, - but studying the lyrics of the songs I'm so sure, just absolutely every song of Indigo is a masterpiece. π₯

From the poetic lyrics where Joon bared his vulnerable and sincere heart, the majestic and gorgeous visuals of the MV, then when the chorus came with Youjeen's voice, that's when i shed a tear.. Really what a powerful, emotion evoking voice.. I want it to be on repeat so bad but we have to stream properly for it to count so i'm trying my hardest not to loop the song hahaha. But wow, what a masterpiece for a title track. B-side favorites: All Day, Forg_tful, Change Pt.2, Lonely and No.2 But damn.. He is right in his letter when he said we will know how perfect his harmonies are with all the artists he collaborated with when we finally listened to the songs and it's just so true.. Everything is just high quality and you can feel how hard he worked for this over the years and how he wants to deliver his sincere heart and thoughts to the world. As always, whether as a group or a solo, BTS have never disappointed me. They always put out something that exceeds all expectations. What a great album!! Hugs to Namjoon.. Thank you for sharing your sincere heart with us. :') Let's keep on streaming it, Armys!!! Let's work hard for Joon as well!!

I loved the Tiny Desk Concert so much and I'm sure you will too, also his Weverse live when it has captions, his interview with Zach Sang!! Also the Indigo Album Magazine Film, where the featured artists appear too, and they dive deeper into the songs and stuff!! (If you wanna watch any of it on your own it's ok too familia)

Hectic actually already grew a lot on me lol, but Closer I feel like I like it a bit less because I wanted more Joon on it π idk, the artists are amazing, but more Joon I think I would like it more lol But yeah, definitely isn't a skip anyway, I could easily listen to this whole album in a loop without getting tired!!! Oh, also, I'm not sure if you catch it but loves Tablo saying "we got dynamite in our DNA" on his verse in All Day π And Change pt2 I believe a lot of it was for his past self, he even says some lyrics about it explicitly (that I'll not say now because I can't remember from my head and I don't wanna butcher it) but I, also, believe he was talking about someone π idk some parts seemed really personal in a different way....

2022-12-03 07:00:45 +0000 UTCThis album is so poetic, artistic, amazing, beautiful, perfect!!! I love how he dive into other genres, worked with amazing and diverse artists!! So so beautiful!!! Hope you can check the lyrics soon, they are so meaningful, and Joon says it's very important you check it out!!! Answering some questions, the man speaking in the beginning and end of Yun is the artist of the same name, btw it's his art on the cover of Indigo!! Namjoon talks more about it on Tiny Desk Concert, and on his Weverse live too (hope you'll react to it too)!! I cry everytime I listen or watch Wild Flower MV, it's just so beautiful, so meaningful, and j really really loved Youjeen's voice too!! Every song of the album spoke so deeply to me, that I don't even have the words to explain, and it makes perfect sense because it's the archive of his 20s and I'm entering mine now, and obviously everyone has it different especially him that was literally being a leader of a group at 19/20 but some experiences are so relatable so yeah, I felt like he really intimately spoke to me with this album and I love it so so much!!!! P.S.: Doolset is finishing up or just finished to translate the lyrics so hope you go there when you review the lyrics, because color coded lyrics video REALLY don't do Namjoon's lyricism justice!!

Fun fact: in the groovy, fun melodies I was crying and dancing bc I could not contain myself.

I caught that lyric and was trying to figure out my interpretation for why it was connected to persona, but now I feel like it's bc the chaotic firework side is RM's life and the flower field/flowerwork side is Namjoon's (his diff personas) maybe??

We are so lucky and privileged as Army to have that connection. When I listened to this album at work yesterday, in headphones, I felt like Joon was right next to me, working alongside me, getting me through that afternoon. I felt at ease, like a weight was lifted off me.

How he makes music for people who feel as if theyβve been stuck in a lifecycle for so long, those dealing with trauma, the old souls, those you seem To always have it all together and for those with ambitions. His music is not only poetic and sonically pleasing but is very raw, mature and truthful. It bought me personally so much comfort being in 20βs as well. Iβm sure heβs incredibly proud of himself.
