Loids growing confusion over family and mission is particularly interesting because he's living in the "enemy" nation. Yor yearning for the family life is to be expected, she's put her time in, done her duty, and its only right she has a chance to settle down like anyone else. Loid on the other hand, should be wishing for home, and desire to live the family life should be tied to the complication of somehow needing to get them to the West. Some of it might be he has spent so little time actually in the West, that he doesn't remember it. Which isn't unlikely considering he refers to himself internally as Twilight, and not whatever his original given name is. In reality, that says some disturbing things about the given person. Loids become a weapon without a true purpose, tethered only be an indoctrinated sense of duty he's never questioned.

2025-07-16 22:43:47 +0000 UTCThe writing for this arc is superb. The perfect balance of action and comedy, with a little darkness and soul searching thrown in for good measure. I can only hope that this show continues for at least a few more seasons. There are some story lines in the manga that I would give a bundle to see animated!π€

2025-07-04 00:15:30 +0000 UTCThis show is like an amusement park ride, especially this season, and now that we've gone through all the terror and adrenaline rush of the cruise ship arc, it's time for the ride to come to a calm ending, the last episodes are pretty chill, just the thing we need after this arc!
