Monday Update (on a Tuesday)
Added 2022-09-27 16:42:19 +0000 UTCI'm officially off from break! I warmed myself up with some more personal Night-time sessions, and if completely ruined my sense of time (hence, why I missed the Monday update). During my time off, I thought up some new things we can test out going forward.
New Approach to Comics:
We are doing well with the weekly two pagers, but’ I’m hitting a point where I want to begin exploring my ideas deeper. I’ve had part twos in mind for many of my comics, but I never follow up with them because I push them back for later. I feel like I keep setting myself up for failure in that regard. So, I want to begin striking the iron while it’s hot. If I have a part two, it’s gonna come out immediately after the next.
I’m testing this out with the “Promotion” comic, because I have too many Ideas for it to just leave it where it is. I already have the first two pages done, but I might hold off on posting it until maybe Friday until I figure out how to go about uploading things.
State of the Pat Comic:
Doing this means, I’m canceling my plans for a big Patreon comic for the moment. With this new follow-up approach, the weekly comics kinda become parts to a whole mini comic on their own. Throwing in a whole other comic in the mix does not sound like a smart idea.
Patreon Requests:
I also had a passing thought about making Patreon requests into comic requests, and maybe having a poll for you to choose which one I do. It’s still a seed of an idea now, but I think it could go somewhere.
