V0.6 Development Update

I just wanted to give everyone a quick development update. We are on target as far as re-writing the script goes (from the very beginning of the game) and are in the process of reimplementing it from a programming sense as well. The game flow will have some choices for the player in the game in V0.6 so it will not just be a kinetic novel.
I apologize in advance for anyone who liked the doctor and police officer characters in the previous versions of the game but they will not be returning in the rewritten version of the script. These are both characters that are not a part of my original vision and they are not in line with the art style that ScarlettAnn has for the rest of the characters in the game. We will likely include their art/animations as "extra" content for those who did enjoy their scenes so we can keep them around in that sense at least.
We are admittedly a bit behind on the illustrations currently but that's just how it goes sometimes as ScarlettAnn gets very busy. ScarlettAnn is currently working on an illustration for M that will be animated by auxiliaryout. I think it will be pretty hot but you'll be the judges of that when you get to see it!
We will have some of the animated scenes that will have the optional voice acting (custom moans) from HaruLuna in the V0.6 update as well. These will be the earlier scenes getting love first. Eventually we will have all scenes with the optional voice acting (custom moans) but it will take time to get them all completed.
As mentioned before, we will have at least one new character coming in the game in the future. This character will be the head researcher (M's boss). Sketches will be coming in the near future for players to choose from to decide on what she looks like. She may or may not be in V0.6, but she will definitely appear in the version following if she isn't in V0.6.

There won't be character specific routes per se. Originally my vision was to go the Summertime Saga route but those plans fell through early on given funding limitations and art production output speed. The story will still be mostly linear, but the players will have choices that will impact the scenes they will see. In some cases this will mean they do not have to pursue female characters they are not into (aside from some scenes that are integral to progressing the main story in the game. There will be some more impactful choices in the game that will produce some interesting outcomes later in the game as well ;).

2021-08-08 19:03:26 +0000 UTCThanks for the update. Does that mean that since the novel won't be kinetic, there will be... Gasp... Routes? Like an A route, an M route or a S route or heck even a C route?! (since I think those are the main characters of the game)
