Sweet Sweet Not So Sweet

This sat in WIP form (attached) for over a year and I finally went back to it and finished it. I decided to not make any major alterations to the 2021 lineart and retained her somewhat exaggerated form. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and that cloudy, soft gradient, "dreamy" background compliments her nicely. I put in some little Sonic level design elements for funsies, as well.
The main inspiration of this image, unsurprisingly, was Amy's boots and how they accentuate her legs in this form. It's similar in theme to the 2008 pic I drew of her (attached). I dunno what it is about those boots of hers, I've just always loved em. Also, given how much Amy has obsessed over an uninterested Sonic (at least back when I played the games), I've long had this thought of "what if Amy had a massive glow up when she got older, and taunted a now-interested Sonic over what he's missing out on?"
