Sampo's Rabbit Hole | サンポのラビットホール PMV 【MOB/Sampo , Gepard/Sampo】

It's done finally!! There are two files here, one is without lyrics on screen with the song being the original Rabbit Hole with Miku singing and the other has english lyrics on screen but it's a cover. I had to make do with my own because I don't feel right using someone else's cover to make a Patreon/FANBOX exclusive video. I am not the best singer though and the song is both too high and fast so I was struggling.

ついに完成した ここには2つのファイルがあります。1つは歌詞が画面に表示されていないもので、曲はオリジナルのRabbit Holeでミクが歌っています。もう1つは英語の歌詞が画面に表示されていますが、カバーです。パトロン／ファンボックス限定ビデオを作るのに、他人のカバーを使うのは気が引けるので、俺のカバーで間に合わせたんだ。でも、俺は歌が得意じゃないし、この曲は音程が高すぎるし、スピードも速いから苦労したよ。

Wanna see me take hours upon hours to draw, rig and animate a 5 second shot? Wanna see me do it again and again and again? That was me during the making of this music video.

Apologies to the people on the discord who may have seen parts of my slow descent to madness as I draw and animate nothing but Sampo everyday for the past month or so.

It is honestly mind boggling that the entirety of the music video is 2 or so minutes and yet it took me weeks upon weeks to finish it- seriously, this was a more grueling process than last year's KaveTham video and I HAD a team then! I can't believe I got to finish this all on my own, I don't know if I can do this again lmao. The MV was so short in ratio to the amount of time I spent that I ended up making a whole separate video to justify the more complicated stuff I drew/rigged so they have more use than appearing for 2 seconds at a time in a music video ahahaha. (That showcase will be in a different post)

Although in the middle of it, I found myself being able to draw faster and faster to create the artworks I need, the process of rigging and animating still prolonged the time spent on making it, since Live2D is still very time-consuming no matter how quick I manage to draw.

Now that it is done, I can finally have a proper full sleep after weeks of working nonstop. Good night! I hope you enjoy this reward~!! I'll put the illustration set of various scenes from the MV in a separate post!

途中で、必要なアートワークを作るためにどんどん速く描けるようになっている自分に気づいたが、リギングとアニメーションのプロセスは、俺がどんなに速く描けてもLive2Dは非常に時間がかかるので、制作に費やす時間はまだ長引いた。
