GO VOTE IN THE POLL FOR THE NEW GAME FOCUS(Directly Previous Post). SERIOUSLY. Only one of you has done so, so far :-(. Even if you hate them all, drop a comment or PM saying so! And if, for some reason, you don't want to do the comment thing (even with just the name of the game you're voting for!) you can always send me a private message with your vote/thoughts! I know several of you commented on the old teaser posts, but since there is an entirely new game AND most of the previous ones have been altered (some significantly), I can't just take those previous comments as votes. Please take a bit of time to let me know which games interest you the most!

Having said that. There are a few other tidbits I wanted to post. First is that I did get the Wacom tablet earlier this week. The attached image was my first significant attempt at drawing something with it. It's literally the fourth thing I drew, with the first three being super-quick doodles to try and get a feel for the differences. Clearly, I'm still having some issues adapting -_-. In example, the proportions of poor Anna there are pretty wonky due to me not being used to the fact that I can't see the entire image at once. Which is caused by a combination of the small tablet drawing surface size and screen size issues. Still, for a very first attempt at digital art, I'm reasonably pleased. Once I can put some proper time into it, I feel fairly sure I can produce some decent artwork.

On that note, I've also just gotten the time to start on the Udemy character art course I picked up. Since I've been buried in trying to catch up to my regular work, plus still being slightly under the weather (just lingering symptoms, rather than still being sick. Blarg), I've only just barely gotten through the intro so far. It's looking like it will be at least a little useful in getting me where I want to be, though. I already learned a tiny snippet about using Line Thicknesses that I didn't know before, and I haven't really gotten into the drawing portion of the course yet.

I've also begun to properly work on the next Eros Academy update. While I'd already done a bit here and there, between the holiday's, being sick, and getting behind on my freelance work, I hadn't actually started producing scene renders yet. I have managed to do an unusual amount of planning ahead of time (for me), though, so now that I'm working on them I expect them to go a bit faster than usual. Doubly so since I don't need many new assets this time around (the Patronage money from this month and last both went to offsetting the costs for the new tablet. As well as acquiring a few new assets for Eros Academy. I managed to finally pick up a few new skin tones during holiday sales, for example. For those curious how it gets spent).
